2018-06-12treewide: kzalloc() -> kcalloc()Kees Cook
The kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kcalloc(). This patch replaces cases of: kzalloc(a * b, gfp) with: kcalloc(a * b, gfp) as well as handling cases of: kzalloc(a * b * c, gfp) with: kzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp) as it's slightly less ugly than: kzalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp) This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like: kzalloc(4 * 1024, gfp) though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion. Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were dropped, since they're redundant. The Coccinelle script used for this was: // Fix redundant parens around sizeof(). @@ type TYPE; expression THING, E; @@ ( kzalloc( - (sizeof(TYPE)) * E + sizeof(TYPE) * E , ...) | kzalloc( - (sizeof(THING)) * E + sizeof(THING) * E , ...) ) // Drop single-byte sizes and redundant parens. @@ expression COUNT; 2013-09-11drm/radeon: signedness bug in kv_dpm.cDan Carpenter
The problem here is that "unsigned i" is always greater than or equal to zero. These loops mostly have a second check for "(i == 0)" so only the last two are actually buggy. The rest is just cleanup. Bug 1: kv_force_dpm_highest() doesn't have an "(i == 0)" check so it's a potential forever loop. Bug 2: In kv_get_sleep_divider_id_from_clock() there is a typo and the test is reversed "<=" vs ">" so we never enter the loop. That means normally we return KV_MAX_DEEPSLEEP_DIVIDER_ID (5). The return value from here is saved in ->DeepSleepDivId and I wasn't able to determine how that is used. This is a static checker fix and I have not tested it.
