2020-11-18drm/via: fix assignment in if conditionBernard Zhao
Fix check_patch.pl warning: ERROR: do not use assignment in if condition + if ((HALCYON_HEADER2 == (cmd = *buf)) && ERROR: do not use assignment in if condition + if (HALCYON_HEADER2 == (cmd = *buf)) Signed-off-by: Bernard Zhao <bernard@vivo.com> Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20201118114021.105502-1-bernard@vivo.com
2019-07-25drm/via: drop use of drmP.hSam Ravnborg
Drop use of the deprecated drmP.h header. While touching the files divide include files in blocks and sort the files alphabetically. v2: - Replace all uses of DRM_WAIT_ON() with VIA_WAIT_ON() and thus avoiding to pull in drm_os_linux.h v3: - DRM_WAIT_ON replacement moved to earlier patch (Emil) Signed-off-by: Sam Ravnborg <sam@ravnborg.org> Reviewed-by: Emil Velikov <emil.velikov@collabora.com> Cc: Kevin Brace <kevinbrace@gmx.com> Cc: Thomas Hellstrom <thellstrom@vmware.com> Cc: "Gustavo A. 2019-07-25drm/via: drop use of DRM(READ|WRITE) macrosSam Ravnborg
The DRM_READ, DRM_WRITE macros comes from the deprecated drm_os_linux.h header file. Remove their use to remove this dependency. Replace the use of the macros with static inline variants. v4: - Use a more standard via_write8_mask() function (Emil) v3: - Use static inline functions, rather than macros (Emil) - Use dedicated mask variants for byte access (Emil) Signed-off-by: Sam Ravnborg <sam@ravnborg.org> Reviewed-by: Emil Velikov <emil.velikov@collabora.com> Cc: Kevin Brace <kevinbrace@gmx.com> Cc: Thomas Hellstrom <thellstrom@vmware.com> Cc: "Gustavo A. 2017-10-16drm/via: use ARRAY_SIZEJérémy Lefaure
Using the ARRAY_SIZE macro improves the readability of the code. Found with Coccinelle with the following semantic patch: @r depends on (org || report)@ type T; T[] E; position p; @@ ( (sizeof(E)@p /sizeof(*E)) | (sizeof(E)@p /sizeof(E[...])) | (sizeof(E)@p /sizeof(T)) ) Reviewed-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Jérémy Lefaure <jeremy.lefaure@lse.epita.fr> Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20171016023357.20174-1-jeremy.lefaure@lse.epita.fr
2014-09-12drm: Move legacy buffer structures to <drm/drm_legacy.h>Daniel Vetter
A few odd cases: - mgag200 someho had a totally unused drm_dma_handle_t. Remove it. - i915 still uses the legacy pci dma alloc api, so grows an include. Everything else fairly standard. v2: Include "drm_legacy.h" in drm.ko source files for consistency. Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch>

2012-10-02UAPI: (Scripted) Remove redundant DRM UAPI header #inclusions from drivers/gpu/.David Howells
Remove redundant DRM UAPI header #inclusions from drivers/gpu/. Remove redundant #inclusions of core DRM UAPI headers (drm.h, drm_mode.h and drm_sarea.h). They are now #included via drmP.h and drm_crtc.h via a preceding patch. Without this patch and the patch to make include the UAPI headers from the core headers, after the UAPI split, the DRM C sources cannot find these UAPI headers because the DRM code relies on specific -I flags to make #include "..." work on headers in include/drm/ - but that does not work after the UAPI split without adding more -I flags. 2008-07-14drm: reorganise drm tree to be more future proof.Dave Airlie
With the coming of kernel based modesetting and the memory manager stuff, the everything in one directory approach was getting very ugly and starting to be unmanageable. This restructures the drm along the lines of other kernel components. It creates a drivers/gpu/drm directory and moves the hw drivers into subdirectores. It moves the includes into an include/drm, and sets up the unifdef for the userspace headers we should be exporting. Signed-off-by: Dave Airlie <airlied@redhat.com>
