2019-04-15hwmon: (hih6130) Fix build warningGuenter Roeck
If CONFIG_OF is not enabled, the following build warning is observed. drivers/hwmon/hih6130.c:255:34: warning: ‘hih6130_of_match’ defined but not used Mark hih6130_of_match as __maybe_unused to fix the problem. Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net>
2019-02-18hwmon: (hih6130) Use permission specific SENSOR[_DEVICE]_ATTR variantsGuenter Roeck
Use SENSOR[_DEVICE]_ATTR[_2]_{RO,RW,WO} to simplify the source code, to improve readability, and to reduce the chance of inconsistencies. Also replace any remaining S_<PERMS> in the driver with octal values. The conversion was done automatically with coccinelle. The semantic patches and the scripts used to generate this commit log are available at https://github.com/groeck/coccinelle-patches/hwmon/. This patch does not introduce functional changes. It was verified by compiling the old and new files and comparing text and data sizes. Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net>
2019-02-18hwmon: (hih6130) add dtb compatibility tablesAndreas Kemnade
This allows the hih6130 to be used in devicetree files and auto-probed that way. Signed-off-by: Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info> Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net>
2018-01-02hwmon: (hih6130) Fix documentation of struct hih6130Guenter Roeck
Sparse reports: drivers/hwmon/hih6130.c:56: warning: No description found for parameter 'client' drivers/hwmon/hih6130.c:56: warning: Excess struct member 'hwmon_dev' description in 'hih6130' Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net>
2014-08-05hwmon: (hih6130) Fix missing hih6130->write_length settingAxel Lin
The hih6130->write_length setting was accidently removed by commit ebc6b9383f3e "hwmon: (hih6130) Convert to devm_hwmon_device_register_with_groups", fix it. Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@ingics.com> Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net>
2014-08-04hwmon: (hih6130) Convert to devm_hwmon_device_register_with_groupsAxel Lin
Use ATTRIBUTE_GROUPS macro and devm_hwmon_device_register_with_groups() to simplify the code a bit. Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@ingics.com> Tested-by: Iain Paton <ipaton0@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net>
2013-12-11hwmon: HIH-6130: Support I2C bus drivers without I2C_FUNC_SMBUS_QUICKJosé Miguel Gonçalves
Some I2C bus drivers do not allow zero-length data transfers which are required to start a measurement with the HIH6130/1 sensor. Nevertheless, we can overcome this limitation by writing a zero dummy byte. This byte is ignored by the sensor and was verified to be working with the OMAP I2C bus driver in a BeagleBone board. 2012-07-21hwmon: Honeywell Humidicon HIH-6130/HIH-6131 humidity and temperature sensor ↵Iain Paton
driver This is a new driver for the Honeywell Humidicon HIH-6130/HIH-6131 humidity sensor. The driver is based on the existing Sensiron sht21 driver with the necessary changes to the probe, update_measurements and conversion functions necessary to use the Honeywell sensors. There's no difference between the 6130 & 6131 other than the 6131 having an external condensation filter attached.
