2021-03-22input: raspberrypi-ts: Release firmware handle when not neededNicolas Saenz Julienne
There is no use for the firmware interface after getting the touch buffer address, so release it. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Saenz Julienne <nsaenzjulienne@suse.de> Acked-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
2020-05-12Input: introduce input_mt_report_slot_inactive()Jiada Wang
input_mt_report_slot_state() ignores "tool" argument when the slot is closed, which has caused a bit of confusion. Let's introduce input_mt_report_slot_inactive() to report inactive slot state. 2019-10-29Input: raspberrypi-ts - switch to using polled mode of input devicesDmitry Torokhov
We have added polled mode to the normal input devices with the intent of retiring input_polled_dev. This converts raspberrypi-ts driver to use the polling mode of standard input devices and removes dependency on INPUT_POLLDEV. 2019-01-08cross-tree: phase out dma_zalloc_coherent()Luis Chamberlain
We already need to zero out memory for dma_alloc_coherent(), as such using dma_zalloc_coherent() is superflous. Phase it out. This change was generated with the following Coccinelle SmPL patch: @ replace_dma_zalloc_coherent @ expression dev, size, data, handle, flags; @@ -dma_zalloc_coherent(dev, size, handle, flags) +dma_alloc_coherent(dev, size, handle, flags) Suggested-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Luis Chamberlain <mcgrof@kernel.org> [hch: re-ran the script on the latest tree] Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>
2018-12-21Input: add official Raspberry Pi's touchscreen driverNicolas Saenz Julienne
Add's support to Raspberry Pi's 7" Touch device. Instead of using a conventional bus all information is copied into a memory mapped area by RPi's firmware. Based on the driver found in RPi's kernel repository.
