module.h already contained moduleparam.h, so it is safe to remove the redundant include. The issue is detected with the help of Coccinelle. Signed-off-by: zhong jiang <zhongjiang@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>

The const array addr_list can be made static, saves populating it on the stack and will make it read-only. Signed-off-by: Colin Ian King <colin.king@canonical.com> Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hverkuil@xs4all.nl> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>
2018-09-11media: use strscpy() instead of strlcpy()Mauro Carvalho Chehab
The implementation of strscpy() is more robust and safer. That's now the recommended way to copy NUL terminated strings. 2016-11-18[media] cx23885: convert it to use pr_foo() macrosMauro Carvalho Chehab
Instead of calling printk() directly, use pr_foo() macros, as suggested at the Kernel's coding style. Please notice that a conversion to dev_foo() is not trivial, as several parts on this driver uses pr_cont(). 2016-11-18[media] cx23885: use KERN_CONT where neededMauro Carvalho Chehab
Some continuation messages are not using KERN_CONT. Since commit 563873318d32 ("Merge branch 'printk-cleanups'"), this won't work as expected anymore. So, let's add KERN_CONT to those lines. While here, add missing log level annotations. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@s-opensource.com>
2016-09-19[media] constify i2c_algorithm structuresJulia Lawall
These i2c_algorithm structures are only stored in the alg field of an i2c_adapter structure, which is declared as const. This declare the structures as const as well. The semantic patch that makes this change is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/) // <smpl> @r disable optional_qualifier@ identifier i; position p; @@ static struct i2c_algorithm i@p = { ... }; @ok@ identifier r.i; struct i2c_adapter e; position p; @@ e.alg = &i@p; @bad@ position p != {r.p,ok.p}; identifier r.i; @@ i@p @depends on !bad disable optional_qualifier@ identifier r.i; @@ static +const struct i2c_algorithm i = { ... }; // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <Julia.Lawall@lip6.fr> Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@s-opensource.com>

2014-12-30[media] cx23885: fix I2C scan printoutAntti Palosaari
1) I2C slave addresses were printed so called 8-bit format. Use standard 7-bit notation. 2) I2C slave address was printed with hex formatted without leading zeros, which makes output one digit shorter in a case of address fit to one hex digit. Use 4 char wide hex number with leading zeros as usually used for I2C slave addresses. Signed-off-by: Antti Palosaari <crope@iki.fi> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
