Support for multiplanar and singleplanar formats is mutually exclusive, at least in practice. In our attempt to unify support for support for mplane and !mplane in v4l, let's get rid of the ->vidioc_enum_fmt_{vid,out}_cap_mplane() hooks and call ->vidioc_enum_fmt_{vid,out}_cap() instead. The capture DV timings capabilities allowed for a minimum width and height of 0. So passing a timings struct with 0 values is allowed and will later cause a division by zero. Ensure that the width and height must be >= 16 to avoid this. 2018-09-24media: cec/v4l2: move V4L2 specific CEC functions to V4L2Hans Verkuil
Several CEC functions are actually specific for use with receivers, i.e. they should be part of the V4L2 subsystem, not CEC. These functions deal with validating and modifying EDIDs for (HDMI) receivers, and they do not actually have anything to do with the CEC subsystem and whether or not CEC is enabled. The problem was that if the CEC_CORE config option was not set, then these functions would become stubs, but that's not right: they should always be valid. So replace the cec_ prefix by v4l2_ and move them to v4l2-dv-timings.c. Update all drivers that call these accordingly. The VIDIOC_G_EDID implementation in vivid didn't take edid->start_block into account when copying the EDID data. Make sure that the internal EDID is updated with the correct CEC physical address. Currently the returned EDID is updated, but that will only work well if edid->start_block is 0. Currently vivid supports V4L2_DV_BT_STD_DMT and V4L2_DV_BT_STD_CEA861 discrete video standards. Extending the capability set to allow for setting CVT and GTF standards. This change, along with adding the support for calculating CVT, GTF timings in v4l2-ctl would extend the number of resolutions supported by vivid to almost any custom resolution. Also extending the limits on min and max pixel clock to accommodate pixel clock range provided by cvt/gtf for resolutions ranging from 640x360p50 to 4kx2Kp60.
