2019-10-16media: imon_raw: simplify loopSean Young
The code for pulse and space is the same so remove duplication. Signed-off-by: Sean Young <sean@mess.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>
2019-08-14media: imon_raw: prevent "nonsensical timing event of duration 0"Sean Young
Sometimes the device sends IR data which is all space, no pulses whatsoever. Add the end of this the driver will put the rc device into idle mode when it already is in idle mode. The following will be logged: rc rc0: nonsensical timing event of duration 0 rc rc0: two consecutive events of type space Signed-off-by: Sean Young <sean@mess.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>
2019-08-14media: imon_raw: simplify and explain bit operationsSean Young
This code needs some explanation. Signed-off-by: Sean Young <sean@mess.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>
2018-11-22media: rc: imon_raw: use fls rather than loop per bitSean Young
Previously, the code would loop for each of the 40 bits. Now it will branch for each edge in the IR, which will be much less. Signed-off-by: Sean Young <sean@mess.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>
2018-10-04media: rc: Remove init_ir_raw_event and DEFINE_IR_RAW_EVENT macrosSean Young
This can be done with c99 initializers, which makes the code cleaner and more transparent. It does require gcc 4.6, because of this bug in earlier versions: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10676 Since commit cafa0010cd51 ("Raise the minimum required gcc version to 4.6"), this is the case. 2018-03-21media: rc: new driver for early iMon deviceSean Young
These devices were supported by the lirc_imon.c driver which was removed from staging in commit f41003a23a02 ("[media] staging: lirc_imon: port remaining usb ids to imon and remove"). Signed-off-by: Sean Young <sean@mess.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@s-opensource.com>
