2022-05-12mtd: rawnand: kioxia: Add support for TH58NVG3S0HBAI4Rickard x Andersson
Add timings for Kioxia/Toshiba TH58NVG3S0HBAI4. Timings for this memory matches the timings selected for TH58NVG2S3HBAI4. This patch increases eraseblock write speed from 5248 KiB/s to 6864 KiB/s and erase block read speed from 8542 KiB/s to 18360 KiB/s Tested on i.MX6SX. 2020-06-26mtd: rawnand: toshiba: Choose the interface configuration for TH58NVG2S3HBAI4Rickard x Andersson
The Kioxia/Toshiba TH58NVG2S3HBAI4 NAND memory is not ONFI compliant. The timings of the NAND chip memory are quite close to ONFI mode 4 but is breaking that spec. By providing our own set of timings, erase block read speed is increased from 6910 kiB/s to 13490 kiB/s and erase block write speed is increased from 3350 kiB/s to 4410 kiB/s. Tested on IMX6SX which has a NAND controller supporting EDO mode. As a preparation for allocating the data interface structure dynamically (and rename it), let's avoid accessing chip->data_interface directly. 2019-04-18mtd: nand: Make flags for bad block marker position more granularFrieder Schrempf
To be able to check and set bad block markers in the first and second page of a block independently of each other, we create separate flags for both cases. Previously NAND_BBM_SECONDPAGE meant, that both, the first and the second page were used. With this patch NAND_BBM_FIRSTPAGE stands for using the first page and NAND_BBM_SECONDPAGE for using the second page. This patch is only for preparation of subsequent changes and does not implement the logic to actually handle both flags separately. 2019-04-18mtd: rawnand: Always store info about bad block markers in chip structFrieder Schrempf
The information about where the manufacturer puts the bad block markers inside the bad block and in the OOB data is stored in different places. Let's move this information to nand_chip.options and nand_chip.badblockpos. As this chip-specific information is not directly related to the bad block table (BBT), we also rename the flags to NAND_BBM_*. 2018-10-08mtd: rawnand: toshiba: Pass a single nand_chip object to the status helperMiquel Raynal
Now that most of the raw NAND API is consistent and has almost all its helpers and hooks using a single nand_chip object instead of an mtd_info one (or both), let's do the same cleanup in the raw NAND vendors drivers. Apply this change to the Toshiba driver so that the internal helper to retrieve the ECC status does only take a nand_chip object. This patch is a patch to support TOSHIBA MEMORY CORPORATION BENAND memory devices. Check the status of the built-in ECC with the Read Status command without using the vendor specific command.
