Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of version 2 of the gnu general public license as published by the free software foundation this program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful but without any warranty without even the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose see the gnu general public license for more details the full gnu general public license is included in this distribution in the file called license extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-only has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 29 file(s). 2019-04-19iwlwifi: add FW_INFO debug levelShahar S Matityahu
Add FW_INFO debug level. This level is enabled if INFO or FW debug levels are set. Also, set fw request and callback prints under this debug level. Signed-off-by: Shahar S Matityahu <shahar.s.matityahu@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2019-02-14iwlwifi: pcie: add TPT oriented printsSara Sharon
Currently there is no way to debug RX/TX paths using prints without harming tpt. Add prints to debug RX allocation path. We can still get 1.9 gbps with those on. Signed-off-by: Sara Sharon <sara.sharon@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2018-08-31iwlwifi: remove all occurrences of the FSF address paragraphLuca Coelho
The Free Software Foundation address is superfluous and causes checkpatch to issue a warning when present. Remove all paragraphs with FSF's address to prevent that. Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
2017-10-06iwlwifi: acpi: add common code to read from ACPILuca Coelho
There are many places where the same process of invoking a method from ACPI is used, causing a lot of duplicate code. To improve this, introduce a new function to get an ACPI object by invoking an ACPI method that can be reused. Additionally, since this function needs to be called when we only have the trans, the opmode or the device, introduce a new debug macro that gets the device as a parameter so it can be used in the new function. 2016-07-12iwlwifi: add missing type declarationArnd Bergmann
The iwl-debug.h header relies in implicit inclusion of linux/device.h and we get a lot of warnings without that: drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-debug.h:44:23: error: 'struct device' declared inside parameter list will not be visible outside of this definition or declaration [-Werror] void __iwl_err(struct device *dev, bool rfkill_prefix, bool only_trace, ^~~~~~ In file included from drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-eeprom-read.h:66:0, from drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-eeprom-read.c:68: drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-trans.h: In function 'iwl_trans_tx': drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-trans.h:1030:348: error: passing argument 1 of '__iwl_err' from incompatible pointer type [-Werror=incompatible-pointer-types] IWL_ERR(trans, "%s bad state = %d\n", __func__, trans->state); ^ In file included from drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-eeprom-read.c:67:0: drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/iwl-debug.h:44:6: note: expected 'struct device *' but argument is of type 'struct device *' void __iwl_err(struct device *dev, bool rfkill_prefix, bool only_trace, ^~~~~~~~~ The easiest workaround is to just declare 'struct device' before its first use, rather than including the entire header file. 2015-12-20iwlwifi: change the Intel Wireless email addressEmmanuel Grumbach
ilw@linux.intel.com is not available anymore. linuxwifi@intel.com should be used instead. Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2015-12-01iwlwifi: remove IWL_DL_LEDEliad Peller
no need to have a separate debug level for a single debug print (which is pretty much useless anyway). remove them both. Signed-off-by: Eliad Peller <eliadx.peller@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
