2018-08-31iwlwifi: add 80211 hdr offset to trace dataMordechay Goodstein
Every rx mpdu cmd is built from cmd_hdr | 80211_hdr. The problem is that the size of cmd_hdr changes with API changes and we don't know where the 80211_hdr starts. By adding the size of cmd_hdr dynamically, we can ensure that we always know how to parse mpdu frames, without dependending on the API changes. 2017-07-21iwlwifi: fix tracing when tx only is enabledEmmanuel Grumbach
iwl_trace_data is somewhat confusing. It returns a bool that tells if the payload of the skb should be added to the tx_data event. If it returns false, then the payload of the skb is added to the tx event. The purpose is to be able to start tracing with -e iwlwifi and record non-data packets only which saves bandwidth. Since EAPOLs are important, seldom and not real data packet (despite being WiFi data packets), they are included in tx event and thus iwl_trace_data returns false on those. This last part was buggy, and because of that, all the data packets were included in the tx event. Fix that. 2016-07-06iwlwifi: tracing: decouple from mac80211Johannes Berg
In order to be able to properly record SKBs that didn't come through mac80211, don't rely on the IEEE80211_TX_CTRL_PORT_CTRL_PROTO flag but instead check for ETH_P_PAE directly. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Luca Coelho <luciano.coelho@intel.com>
