When the set_chan_info command is set with CH_SWITCH_NORMAL reason, even if the action is UNI_CHANNEL_RX_PATH, it'll still generate some unexpected tones, which might confuse DFS CAC tests that there are some tone leakages. To get rid of these kinds of false alarms, always bypass DPD calibration when IEEE80211_CONF_IDLE is set. Add support for the MediaTek MT7981 SoC which is similar to the MT7986 but with a newer IP cores and only 2x ARM Cortex-A53 instead of 4x. Unlike MT7986 the MT7981 can only connect a single wireless frontend, usually MT7976 is used for DBDC. PPDU TxS can only report MPDU count whereas mac80211 requires MSDU scale (NL80211_STA_INFO_TX_PACKETS), so switch to get MSDU counts from WA statistic. Note that mt7915 WA firmware only counts tx_packet for WED path, so driver needs to take care of host path additionally. 2022-12-01wifi: mt76: mt7915: fix band_idx usageRyder Lee
The commit 006b9d4ad5bf introduced phy->band_idx to accommodate the band definition change for mt7986 so that the band_idx of main_phy can be 0 or 1. Accordingly, the source of band_idx 1 has switched to "phy != &dev->phy" or "dev->phy.band_idx = 1". We still use ext_phy to represent band 1 somewhere in driver, so fix it. Also, band_idx sounds more reasonable than dbdc_idx, so change it. The MIB INFO command is fetching MIB_BUSY_TIME, MIB_TX_TIME, MIB_RX_TIME and MIB_OBSS_AIRTIME from the radio and filling out cc_busy, cc_tx, cc_bss_rx and cc_rx respectively. busy should be >= tx + rx >= tx + bss_rx but we don’t always quite see this. Sometimes tx + rx is a bit higher than busy due to inaccurate accounting, so this patch recalculates numbers to make them more reasonable. In previous, we only allow user to configure tx antenna mask contiguously (e.g. 0x3, 0xf). This patch allows user to configure tx antenna mask interleavingly (e.g. 0x5, 0x8). By setting proper antenna mask and nss, user can prioritized the signal of different antennas, which helps to test their performance in normal mode. The A-MSDU data needs to be stored per-link and aggregated into a single value for the station. Add a new struct ieee_80211_sta_aggregates in order to store this data and a new function ieee80211_sta_recalc_aggregates to update the current data for the STA. Note that in the non MLO case the pointer in ieee80211_sta will directly reference the data in deflink.agg, which means that recalculation may be skipped in that case. 2022-07-11mt76: do not use skb_set_queue_mapping for internal purposesFelix Fietkau
Previously the code used skb_set_queue_mapping for management or non-bufferable powersave frames that need to be sent to a different hardware queue. This can confuse AQL, which expects the value to remain the same until the tx status report. The only place that currently uses the altered skb queue mapping is the txwi write function.
