2022-08-02nvmet-auth: expire authentication sessionsHannes Reinecke
Each authentication step is required to be completed within the KATO interval (or two minutes if not set). So add a workqueue function to reset the transaction ID and the expected next protocol step; this will automatically the next authentication command referring to the terminated authentication. 2022-08-02nvmet-auth: Diffie-Hellman key exchange supportHannes Reinecke
Implement Diffie-Hellman key exchange using FFDHE groups for NVMe In-Band Authentication. This patch adds a new host configfs attribute 'dhchap_dhgroup' to select the FFDHE group to use. 2022-08-02nvmet: implement basic In-Band AuthenticationHannes Reinecke
Implement NVMe-oF In-Band authentication according to NVMe TPAR 8006. This patch adds three additional configfs entries 'dhchap_key', 'dhchap_ctrl_key', and 'dhchap_hash' to the 'host' configfs directory. The 'dhchap_key' and 'dhchap_ctrl_key' entries need to be in the ASCII format as specified in NVMe Base Specification v2.0 section 8.13.5.8 'Secret representation'. 'dhchap_hash' defaults to 'hmac(sha256)', and can be written to to switch to a different HMAC algorithm. 2022-07-14nvme/target: Use the new blk_opf_t typeBart Van Assche

2022-07-14treewide: Rename enum req_opf into enum req_opBart Van Assche
The type name enum req_opf is misleading since it suggests that values of this type include both an operation type and flags. Since values of this type represent an operation only, change the type name into enum req_op. Convert the enum req_op documentation into kernel-doc format. Move a few definitions such that the enum req_op documentation occurs just above the enum req_op definition. The name "req_opf" was introduced by commit ef295ecf090d ("block: better op and flags encoding"). 2022-06-30nvmet: add a clear_ids attribute for passthru targetsAlan Adamson
If the clear_ids attribute is set to true, the EUI/GUID/UUID is cleared for the passthru target. By default, loop targets will set clear_ids to true. 2022-06-29nvmet-tcp: fix regression in data_digest calculationSagi Grimberg
Data digest calculation iterates over command mapped iovec. However since commit bac04454ef9f we unmap the iovec before we handle the data digest, and since commit 69b85e1f1d1d we clear nr_mapped when we unmap the iov. Instead of open-coding the command iov traversal, simply call crypto_ahash_digest with the command sg that is already allocated (we already do that for the send path). Rename nvmet_tcp_send_ddgst to nvmet_tcp_calc_ddgst and call it from send and recv paths. 2022-06-28block: simplify disk shutdownChristoph Hellwig
Set the queue dying flag and call blk_mq_exit_queue from del_gendisk for all disks that do not have separately allocated queues, and thus remove the need to call blk_cleanup_queue for them. Rename blk_cleanup_disk to blk_mq_destroy_queue to make it clear that this function is intended only for separately allocated blk-mq queues. This saves an extra queue freeze for devices without a separately allocated queue. 2022-03-15nvmet: move the call to nvmet_ns_changed out of nvmet_ns_revalidateChristoph Hellwig
nvmet_ns_changed states via lockdep that the ns->subsys->lock must be held. The only caller of nvmet_ns_changed which does not acquire that lock is nvmet_ns_revalidate. nvmet_ns_revalidate has 3 callers, of which 2 do not acquire that lock: nvmet_execute_identify_cns_cs_ns and nvmet_execute_identify_ns. The other caller nvmet_ns_revalidate_size_store does acquire the lock. Move the call to nvmet_ns_changed from nvmet_ns_revalidate to the callers so that they can perform the correct locking as needed. This issue was found using a static type-based analyser and manually verified. 2021-12-08nvmet-tcp: fix possible list corruption for unexpected command failureSagi Grimberg
nvmet_tcp_handle_req_failure needs to understand weather to prepare for incoming data or the next pdu.
