2018-09-28rtc: ab8500: let the core handle rangeAlexandre Belloni

2018-03-27rtc: ab8500: Drop AB8540 supportLinus Walleij
The AB8540 was an evolved version of the AB8500, but it was never mass produced or put into products, only reference designs exist. The upstream support was never completed and it is unlikely that this will happen so drop the support for now to simplify maintenance of the AB8500. 2018-03-01rtc: stop validating rtc_time after rtc_time_to_tmAlexandre Belloni
rtc_time_to_tm never generates an invalid tm. It is not necessary to validate it. Signed-off-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@bootlin.com>
2015-11-08rtc: ab8500: remove misuse of IRQF_NO_SUSPEND flagSudeep Holla
The IRQF_NO_SUSPEND flag is used to identify the interrupts that should be left enabled so as to allow them to work as expected during the suspend-resume cycle, but doesn't guarantee that it will wake the system from a suspended state, enable_irq_wake is recommended to be used for the wakeup. This patch removes the use of IRQF_NO_SUSPEND flags and uses newly introduce PM wakeup APIs dev_pm_{set,clear}_wake_irq. 2014-12-10rtc/ab8500: set uie_unsupported flagXunlei Pang
Currently, ab8500 doesn't set uie_unsupported of rtc_device, while it doesn't support UIE, see ab8500_rtc_set_alarm(). Thus, when going through rtc_update_irq_enable()->rtc_timer_enqueue(), there's a chance it has an alarm timer1 queued before which is going to fired, so this update timer2 will be queued because it isn't the leftmost one, which means rtc_timer_enqueue() will return 0. This will result in two problems: 1) UIE EMUL will not be used. 2) When the alarm timer1 is fired, in rtc_timer_do_work() timer2 will fail to set the alarm time, so this rtc will disfunctional due to timer2 with the earliest expires in the timerqueue. So, rtc drivers must set this flag if they don't support UIE. 2013-07-03drivers/rtc/rtc-ab8500.c: add second resolution to rtc driverAlexandre Torgue
Android expects the RTC to have second resolution. On ab8540 cut2 RTC block has a new register which allows setting seconds for wakeup alarms. Existing registers (minutes hi, mid and low) have seen their offsets changed. Here is the new mapping: * AlarmSec (A) 0x22 * AlarmMinLow (M) from 0x8 to 0x23 * AlarmMinMid (M) from 0x9 to 0x24 * AlarmMinHigh (M) from 0xA to 0x25 Signed-off-by: Julien Delacou <julien.delacou@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Torgue <alexandre.torgue@st.com> Acked-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Cc: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
