2021-04-09staging: rtl8712: add spaces around '+'Mitali Borkar
Added spaces around '+' to improve readability and adhere to linux kernel coding style. Reported by checkpatch Signed-off-by: Mitali Borkar <mitaliborkar810@gmail.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/YG7uLQLGmAh97xB1@kali Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2018-10-03staging: rtl8712: add SPDX identifiersMichael Straube
This satisfies a checkpatch warning and is the preferred method for notating the license. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text. Signed-off-by: Michael Straube <straube.linux@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

2017-01-03staging: rtl8712: changed u32 to __le32Jannik Becher
Fixed sparse warnings. Deleted cpu_to_le32() for enum. I'm not sure why it was there. Signed-off-by: Jannik Becher <becher.jannik@gmail.com> Tested-by: Larry Finger <Larry.Finger@lwfinger.net> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-09-12staging: rtl8712: checkpatch cleanup: block comments using a trailing */Raphaël Beamonte
Fix checkpatch.pl warning "Block comments use a trailing */ on a separate line" on multiple files of the driver by editing the affected comments. Signed-off-by: Raphaël Beamonte <raphael.beamonte@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-08-07staging: rtl8712: change SupportedRates to ratesJoshua Clayton
Change the value to a name that conforms to Linux coding style. "rates" is equally expressive in this context, and I have left alone a comment and function name that describe the rates as supported rates. 2015-08-07staging: rtl8712: remove typedefsJoshua Clayton
Coding style fix. Get rid of typedefs NDIS_802_11_RATES and NDIS_802_11_RATES_EX Undo any casting that was done as a result of the typedef. Signed-off-by: Joshua Clayton <stillcompiling@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-08-07staging: rtl8712: remove duplicate structJoshua Clayton
struct ndis_wlan_bssid_ex is a doppelganger of struct wlan_bssid_ex, and is used about a third as often. Switch all instances to wlan_bssid_ex, and remove ndis_wlan_bssid_ex This also gets rid of a use of typedef NDIS_802_11_RATES_EX Signed-off-by: Joshua Clayton <stillcompiling@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2015-08-07staging: rtl8712: fix commentJoshua Clayton
The old comment refers to a typedef name which is being removed, and to a style of calculation which is no longer being used. It falsely states that IELength is variable length, instead of IEs. Change comment to simply state that the IEs field is a buffer of variable size and that IELength refers to the current size. 2010-08-20staging: r8712u: Add the new driver to the mainline kernelLarry Finger
This code is for a completely new version of the Realtek 8192 USB devices such as the D-Link DWA-130. The Realtek code, which was originally for Linux, Windows XP and Windows CE, has been stripped of all code not needed for Linux. In addition, only one additional configuration variable, which enables AP mode, remains.
