2018-01-17video: fbdev: riva: deprecate pci_get_bus_and_slot()Sinan Kaya
pci_get_bus_and_slot() is restrictive such that it assumes domain=0 as where a PCI device is present. This restricts the device drivers to be reused for other domain numbers. Getting ready to remove pci_get_bus_and_slot() function in favor of pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot(). struct riva_par has a pointer to struct pci_dev. Use the pci_dev member to extract the domain information. Change the function signature for CalcStateExt and RivaGetConfig to pass in struct pci_dev in addition to RIVA_HW_INST so that code inside the riva_hw.c can also calculate domain number and pass it to pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot(). 2014-08-26video: fbdev: riva: delete double assignmentJulia Lawall
Delete successive assignments to the same location. A simplified version of the semantic match that finds this problem is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/) // <smpl> @@ expression i; @@ *i = ...; i = ...; // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <Julia.Lawall@lip6.fr> Signed-off-by: Tomi Valkeinen <tomi.valkeinen@ti.com>
2014-04-17video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdevTomi Valkeinen
The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch.
