2022-07-15x86/boot/tboot: Move tboot_force_iommu() to Intel IOMMULu Baolu
tboot_force_iommu() is only called by the Intel IOMMU driver. Move the helper into that driver. No functional change intended. 2020-04-28x86/tboot: Mark tboot staticChristoph Hellwig
This structure is only really used in tboot.c. The only exception is a single tboot_enabled check, but for that we don't need an inline function. 2013-12-07ACPI: Clean up inclusions of ACPI header filesLv Zheng
Replace direct inclusions of <acpi/acpi.h>, <acpi/acpi_bus.h> and <acpi/acpi_drivers.h>, which are incorrect, with <linux/acpi.h> inclusions and remove some inclusions of those files that aren't necessary. First of all, <acpi/acpi.h>, <acpi/acpi_bus.h> and <acpi/acpi_drivers.h> should not be included directly from any files that are built for CONFIG_ACPI unset, because that generally leads to build warnings about undefined symbols in !CONFIG_ACPI builds. For CONFIG_ACPI set, <linux/acpi.h> includes those files and for CONFIG_ACPI unset it provides stub ACPI symbols to be used in that case. Second, there are ordering dependencies between those files that always have to be met. Namely, it is required that <acpi/acpi_bus.h> be included prior to <acpi/acpi_drivers.h> so that the acpi_pci_root declarations the latter depends on are always there. And <acpi/acpi.h> which provides basic ACPICA type declarations should always be included prior to any other ACPI headers in CONFIG_ACPI builds. That also is taken care of including <linux/acpi.h> as appropriate. 2012-03-13x86, acpi, tboot: Have a ACPI os prepare sleep instead of calling tboot_sleep.Tang Liang
The ACPI suspend path makes a call to tboot_sleep right before it writes the PM1A, PM1B values. We replace the direct call to tboot via an registration callback similar to __acpi_register_gsi. 2010-05-19KVM: VMX: enable VMXON check with SMX enabled (Intel TXT)Shane Wang
Per document, for feature control MSR: Bit 1 enables VMXON in SMX operation. If the bit is clear, execution of VMXON in SMX operation causes a general-protection exception. Bit 2 enables VMXON outside SMX operation. If the bit is clear, execution of VMXON outside SMX operation causes a general-protection exception.
