2015-05-06can.h: make padding given by gcc explicitShawn Landden
The current definition of struct can_frame has a 16-byte size, with 8-byte alignment, but the 3 bytes of padding are not explicit like the similar 2 bytes of padding of struct canfd_frame. Make it explicit so it is easier to read. Signed-off-by: Shawn Landden <shawn@churchofgit.com> Acked-by: Oliver Hartkopp <socketcan@hartkopp.net> Signed-off-by: Marc Kleine-Budde <mkl@pengutronix.de>
2014-05-19can: unify identifiers to ensure unique include processingOliver Hartkopp
Armin pointed me to the fact that the identifier which is used to ensure the unique include processing in lunux/include/uapi/linux/can.h is CAN_H. This clashed with his own source as includes from libraries and APIs should use an underscore '_' at the identifier start. This patch fixes the protection identifiers in all CAN relavant includes. 2014-02-04can: add explicit copyrights to can userspace headerUwe Kleine-König
This is in the spirit of commit 2485602f1af2 (can: add explicit copyrights to can headers). It seems I have missed can.h back then.
