2017-11-16ipv6: sr: update the struct ipv6_sr_hdrAhmed Abdelsalam
The IPv6 Segment Routing Header (SRH) format has been updated (revision 6 of the SRH ietf draft). The update includes the following SRH fields: (1) The "First Segment" field changed to be "Last Entry" which contains the index, in the Segment List, of the last element of the Segment List. (2) The 16 bit "reserved" field now is used as a "tag" which tags a packet as part of a class or group of packets, e.g.,packets sharing the same set of properties. This patch updates the struct ipv6_sr_hdr, so it complies with the updated SRH draft. The 16 bit "reserved" field is changed to be "tag", In addition a comment is added to the "first_segment" field, showing that it represents the "Last Entry" field of the SRH. 2017-11-02License cleanup: add SPDX license identifier to uapi header files with a licenseGreg Kroah-Hartman
Many user space API headers have licensing information, which is either incomplete, badly formatted or just a shorthand for referring to the license under which the file is supposed to be. This makes it hard for compliance tools to determine the correct license. Update these files with an SPDX license identifier. The identifier was chosen based on the license information in the file. GPL/LGPL licensed headers get the matching GPL/LGPL SPDX license identifier with the added 'WITH Linux-syscall-note' exception, which is the officially assigned exception identifier for the kernel syscall exception: NOTE! This copyright does *not* cover user programs that use kernel services by normal system calls - this is merely considered normal use of the kernel, and does *not* fall under the heading of "derived work". This exception makes it possible to include GPL headers into non GPL code, without confusing license compliance tools. Headers which have either explicit dual licensing or are just licensed under a non GPL license are updated with the corresponding SPDX identifier and the GPLv2 with syscall exception identifier. The format is: ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR SPDX-ID-OF-OTHER-LICENSE) SPDX license identifiers are a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text. The update does not remove existing license information as this has to be done on a case by case basis and the copyright holders might have to be consulted. This will happen in a separate step. This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and Philippe Ombredanne. See the previous patch in this series for the methodology of how this patch was researched. 2017-02-03ipv6: sr: remove cleanup flag and fix HMAC computationDavid Lebrun
In the latest version of the IPv6 Segment Routing IETF draft [1] the cleanup flag is removed and the flags field length is shrunk from 16 bits to 8 bits. As a consequence, the input of the HMAC computation is modified in a non-backward compatible way by covering the whole octet of flags instead of only the cleanup bit. As such, if an implementation compatible with the latest draft computes the HMAC of an SRH who has other flags set to 1, then the HMAC result would differ from the current implementation. This patch carries those modifications to prevent conflict with other implementations of IPv6 SR. 2017-01-16ipv6: sr: add missing Kbuild export for header filesDavid Lebrun
Add missing IPv6-SR header files in include/uapi/linux/Kbuild. Also, prevent seg6_lwt_headroom() from being exported and add missing linux/types.h include. Signed-off-by: David Lebrun <david.lebrun@uclouvain.be> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2016-11-09ipv6: implement dataplane support for rthdr type 4 (Segment Routing Header)David Lebrun
Implement minimal support for processing of SR-enabled packets as described in https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-6man-segment-routing-header-02. This patch implements the following operations: - Intermediate segment endpoint: incrementation of active segment and rerouting. - Egress for SR-encapsulated packets: decapsulation of outer IPv6 header + SRH and routing of inner packet. - Cleanup flag support for SR-inlined packets: removal of SRH if we are the penultimate segment endpoint. A per-interface sysctl seg6_enabled is provided, to accept/deny SR-enabled packets. Default is deny. This patch does not provide support for HMAC-signed packets.
