2022-11-19lib: assume char is unsignedJason A. Donenfeld
Now that we use -funsigned-char, there's no need for this kind of ifdef. Signed-off-by: Jason A. Donenfeld <Jason@zx2c4.com>
2022-09-07lib: Improve the is_signed_type() kunit testBart Van Assche
Since the definition of is_signed_type() has been moved from <linux/overflow.h> to <linux/compiler.h>, include the latter header file instead of the former. Additionally, add a test for the type 'char'. 2022-08-31testing/selftests: Add tests for the is_signed_type() macroBart Van Assche
Although not documented, is_signed_type() must support the 'bool' and pointer types next to scalar and enumeration types. Add a selftest that verifies that this macro handles all supported types correctly.
