snd_soc_dai_digital_mute() is internally using both mute_stream() (1) or digital_mute() (2), but the difference between these 2 are only handling direction. 2017-04-05ASoC: sta529: Add OF device ID tableJavier Martinez Canillas
The driver doesn't have a struct of_device_id table but supported devices are registered via Device Trees. This is working on the assumption that a I2C device registered via OF will always match a legacy I2C device ID and that the MODALIAS reported will always be of the form i2c:<device>. But this could change in the future so the correct approach is to have an OF device ID table if the devices are registered via OF. 2016-08-08ASoC: codec duplicated callback function goes to component on sta529Kuninori Morimoto
codec driver and component driver has duplicated callback functions, and codec side functions are just copied to component side when register timing. This was quick-hack, but no longer needed. 2014-10-22ASoC: sta529: Cleanup manual bias level transitionsLars-Peter Clausen
Set the CODEC driver's suspend_bias_off flag rather than manually going to SND_SOC_BIAS_OFF in suspend and SND_SOC_BIAS_STANDBY in resume. This makes the code a bit shorter and cleaner. Since the ASoC core now takes care of setting the bias level to SND_SOC_BIAS_OFF when removing the CODEC there is no need to do it manually anymore either. The manual transition to SND_SOC_BIAS_STANDBY at the end of CODEC probe() can also be removed as the core will automatically do this after the CODEC has been probed. According to the datasheet: S2PCFG0 (0x0A) BIT[3:1] DATA_FORMAT serial interface protocol format: 000: left Justified 001: I2S (default) 010: right justified 100: PCM no delay 101: PCM delay 111: DSP Thus fixes the defines for LEFT_J_DATA_FORMAT, I2S_DATA_FORMAT, and RIGHT_J_DATA_FORMAT. Also adds define for DATA_FORMAT_MSK.
