2020-11-26ASoC: tlv320: skip of_device_id table when !CONFIG_OFKrzysztof Kozlowski
The driver can match by multiple methods. Its of_device_id table is referenced via of_match_ptr() so it will be unused for !CONFIG_OF builds: sound/soc/codecs/tlv320aic23-i2c.c:38:34: warning: ‘tlv320aic23_of_match’ defined but not used [-Wunused-const-variable=] sound/soc/codecs/tlv320adcx140.c:1076:34: warning: ‘tlv320adcx140_of_match’ defined but not used [-Wunused-const-variable=] Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20201125164452.89239-32-krzk@kernel.org Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>

2018-02-12ASoC: tlv320aic23: replace codec to componentKuninori Morimoto
Now we can replace Codec to Component. Let's do it. Note: xxx_codec_xxx() -> xxx_component_xxx() .idle_bias_off = 0 -> .idle_bias_on = 1 .ignore_pmdown_time = 0 -> .use_pmdown_time = 1 - -> .endianness = 1 - -> .non_legacy_dai_naming = 1 Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2015-03-09ASoC: tlv320aic23: remove incorrect __exit markupsDmitry Torokhov
Even if bus is not hot-pluggable, the devices can be unbound from the driver via sysfs, so we should not be using __exit annotations on remove() methods. The only exception is drivers registered with platform_driver_probe() which specifically disables sysfs bind/unbind attributes. 2014-04-14ASoC: tlv320aic23: Include of.hSachin Kamat
of_match_ptr is defined in of.h. Include it explicitly. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>
2014-04-01ASoC: tlv320aic23: add an of_match tableStephen Warren
Add a device tree match table. This serves to make the driver's support of device tree more explicit. Perhaps the fallback for DT matching to using the i2c_device_id table will go away one day, since it fails in face of devices from different vendors with the same name. 2014-03-07ASoC: tlv320aic23: add support for SPI control modeMax Filippov
tlv320aic23 chip control interface may work in either I2C or SPI mode depending on the MODE pin state. Functionality and register layout are independent of the control mode. Implement bus-specific parts as separate modules. Signed-off-by: Max Filippov <jcmvbkbc@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>
