2025-04-07ASoC: Intel: avs: PTL-based platforms supportCezary Rojewski
Define handlers specific to ACE platforms, that Frisco Lake (FCL), a PantherLake (PTL)-based platform, is founded upon. Most operations are still inherited from their predecessors with the major difference being AudioDSP cores management - replaced by DSP-domain power management. Software has to ensure the DSP domain is both powered on and its power-gating disabled before it can be utilized for streaming. For some reason a number of files included the "All rights reserved" statement. Good old copy-paste made sure this mistake proliferated. Remove the "All rights reserved" in all Intel-copyright to align with internal guidance. 2023-05-22ASoC: Intel: avs: Fix avs_path_module::instance_id sizeAmadeusz Sławiński
All IPCs using instance_id use 8 bit value. Original commit used 16 bit value because FW reports possible max value in 16 bit field, but in practice FW limits the value to 8 bits. 2022-07-08ASoC: Intel: avs: Relax DSP core transition timingsCezary Rojewski
To avoid any false positives when checking CPA after setting SPA, do a short wait. For stall operation, give HW more time to propagate the change before moving on. HD-Audio bus is a PCI device. Add all functions necessary to probe such device along with its removal sequence. Behaviour implemented for all standard operations is similar to existing solutions: sound/pci/hda and sound/soc/intel/skylake. 2022-05-17ASoC: Intel: avs: D0ix power state supportCezary Rojewski
Audio DSP device supports D0 substates in form of D0ix, allowing for preserving more power even when device is still considered active (D0). When entered, certain domains which are not being currently used become power gated. Entering and leaving D0ix is a complex process and differs between firmware generations. Conditions that disallow D0i3 and require immediate D0i0 transition include but may not be limited to: IPC traffic, firmware tracing and SRAM I/O. To make D0ix toggling sane, delay D0i3 transition and refresh the timer each time an IPC is requested. Wrap elementary DSP-core operations and resource control into more complex handlers. This is done to reduce the number of invocations of wrapped operations throughout the driver as order of operations matters - most flows involve register manipulation and IPCs combined. 2022-03-11ASoC: Intel: Introduce AVS driverCezary Rojewski
Declare base structures and core DSP operations for the avs solution. The base structures describe PCI HDAudio bus device and platform-type differentiations. First set of operations added controls the lifecycle of any Audio DSP core: (un)powering, (un)resetting and (un)stalling.
