https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound into for-next ASoC: Updates for v5.5 Some big changes in the core but more about cleanps and refactorings than new features, plus a collection of new drivers and lots of small fixes and improvements to existing ones. - Lots more cleanups from Morimoto-san. Now that everything is a component this is mostly about refactorings to clarify and simplify the core, a combination of things that are no longer required due to refactorings and spotting similarities. - Many fixes to the Sound Open Firmware code. - Wake on voice support for Chromebooks. - SPI support for RT5677. - New drivers for Analog Devices ADAU7118, Intel Cannonlake systems with RT1011 and RT5682, Texas Instruments TAS2562 and TAS2770.

2019-06-28ASoC: qcom: consider CPU-Platform possibilityKuninori Morimoto
commit 0814c6412967 ("ASoC: qcom: don't select unnecessary Platform") Current ALSA SoC avoid to add duplicate component to rtd, and this driver was selecting CPU component as Platform component. Thus, above patch removed Platform settings from this driver, because it assumed these are same component. But, some CPU driver is using generic DMAEngine, in such case, both CPU component and Platform component will have same of_node/name. In other words, there are some components which are different but have same of_node/name. In such case, Card driver definitely need to select Platform even though it is same as CPU. It is depends on CPU driver, but is difficult to know it from Card driver. This patch reverts above patch. 2019-02-20ASoC: qcom: Fix of-node refcount unbalance in qcom_snd_parse_of()Takashi Iwai
Although qcom_snd_parse_of() tries to manage the of-node refcount, there are still a few places that lead to the unblanced refcount in the error code path. Namely, - for_each_child_of_node() needs to unreference the iterator node if aborting the loop in the middle, - cpu, codec and platform node objects have to be unreferenced at each iteration, - platform and codec node objects have to be referred before jumping to the error handling code that unreference them unconditionally. This patch tries to address these by moving the assignment of platform and codec node objects to the beginning of the loop and adding the of_node_put() calls adequately.
