Split the arch-neutral test code out of aarch64/get-reg-list.c into
get-reg-list.c. To do this we invent a new make variable
$(SPLIT_TESTS) which expects common parts to be in the KVM selftests
root and the counterparts to have the same name, but be in
$(ARCH_DIR).
There's still some work to be done to de-aarch64 the common
get-reg-list.c, but we leave that to the next patch to avoid
modifying too much code while moving it.

core_reg_fixup() complicates sharing the get-reg-list test with
other architectures. Rather than work at keeping it, with plenty
of #ifdeffery, just delete it, as it's unlikely to test a kernel
based on anything older than v5.2 with the get-reg-list test,
which is a test meant to check for regressions in new kernels.
(And, an older version of the test can still be used for older
kernels if necessary.)

Rename vcpu_config to vcpu_reg_list to be more specific and add
it to kvm_util.h. While it may not get used outside get-reg-list
tests, exporting it doesn't hurt, as long as it has a unique enough
name. This is a step in the direction of sharing most of the get-
reg-list test code between architectures.

print_reg() and its helpers only use the vcpu_config pointer for
config_name(). So just pass the config name in instead, which is used
as a prefix in asserts. print_reg() can now be compiled independently
of config_name().

The original author of aarch64/get-reg-list.c (me) was wearing
tunnel vision goggles when implementing str_with_index(). There's
no reason to have such a special case string function. Instead,
take inspiration from glib and implement strdup_printf. The
implementation builds on vasprintf() which requires _GNU_SOURCE,
but we require _GNU_SOURCE in most files already.

Add TEST_REQUIRE() and __TEST_REQUIRE() to replace the myriad open coded
instances of selftests exiting with KSFT_SKIP after printing an
informational message. In addition to reducing the amount of boilerplate
code in selftests, the UPPERCASE macro names make it easier to visually
identify a test's requirements.
Convert usage that erroneously uses something other than print_skip()
and/or "exits" with '0' or some other non-KSFT_SKIP value.
Intentionally drop a kvm_vm_free() in aarch64/debug-exceptions.c as part
of the conversion. All memory and file descriptors are freed on process
exit, so the explicit free is superfluous.

Add kvm_has_cap() to wrap kvm_check_cap() and return a bool for the use
cases where the caller only wants check if a capability is supported,
i.e. doesn't care about the value beyond whether or not it's non-zero.
The "check" terminology is somewhat ambiguous as the non-boolean return
suggests that '0' might mean "success", i.e. suggests that the ioctl uses
the 0/-errno pattern. Provide a wrapper instead of trying to find a new
name for the raw helper; the "check" terminology is derived from the name
of the ioctl, so using e.g. "get" isn't a clear win.

Rename vm_create() to vm_create_barebones() and drop the @phys_pages
param. Pass '0' for the number of pages even though some callers pass
'DEFAULT_GUEST_PHY_PAGES', as the intent behind creating truly barebones
VMs is purely to create a VM, i.e. there aren't vCPUs, there's no guest
code loaded, etc..., and so there is nothing that will ever need or
consume guest memory.
Freeing up the name vm_create() will allow using the name for an inner
helper to the other VM creators, which need a "full" VM.

Open code adding and doing setup for a vCPU in get-reg-list in order to

When testing a kernel with commit a5905d6af492 ("KVM: arm64:
Allow SMCCC_ARCH_WORKAROUND_3 to be discovered and migrated")
get-reg-list output
vregs: Number blessed registers: 234
vregs: Number registers: 238
vregs: There are 1 new registers.
Consider adding them to the blessed reg list with the following lines:
KVM_REG_ARM_FW_REG(3),
vregs: PASS
...
That output inspired two changes: 1) add the new register to the
blessed list and 2) explain why "Number registers" is actually four
larger than "Number blessed registers" (on the system used for
testing), even though only one register is being stated as new.
The reason is that some registers are host dependent and they get
filtered out when comparing with the blessed list. The system
used for the test apparently had three filtered registers.

We reworked get-reg-list to make it easier to enable optional register
sublists by parametrizing their vcpu feature flags as well as making
other generalizations. That was all to make sure we enable the PMU
registers when we want to test them. Somehow we forgot to actually
include the PMU feature flag in the PMU sublist description though!

Since KVM commit 11663111cd49 ("KVM: arm64: Hide PMU registers from
userspace when not available") the get-reg-list* tests have been
failing with
...
... There are 74 missing registers.
The following lines are missing registers:
...
where the 74 missing registers are all PMU registers. This isn't a
bug in KVM that the selftest found, even though it's true that a
KVM userspace that wasn't setting the KVM_ARM_VCPU_PMU_V3 VCPU
flag, but still expecting the PMU registers to be in the reg-list,
would suddenly no longer have their expectations met. In that case,
the expectations were wrong, though, so that KVM userspace needs to
be fixed, and so does this selftest. The fix for this selftest is to
pull the PMU registers out of the base register sublist into their
own sublist and then create new, pmu-enabled vcpu configs which can
be tested.
