From 33def8498fdde180023444b08e12b72a9efed41d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Joe Perches Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2020 19:36:07 -0700 Subject: treewide: Convert macro and uses of __section(foo) to __section("foo") Use a more generic form for __section that requires quotes to avoid complications with clang and gcc differences. Remove the quote operator # from compiler_attributes.h __section macro. Convert all unquoted __section(foo) uses to quoted __section("foo"). Also convert __attribute__((section("foo"))) uses to __section("foo") even if the __attribute__ has multiple list entry forms. Conversion done using the script at: https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/75393e5ddc272dc7403de74d645e6c6e0f4e70eb.camel@perches.com/2-convert_section.pl Signed-off-by: Joe Perches Reviewed-by: Nick Desaulniers Reviewed-by: Miguel Ojeda Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds --- arch/riscv/kernel/cpu_ops.c | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'arch/riscv/kernel/cpu_ops.c') diff --git a/arch/riscv/kernel/cpu_ops.c b/arch/riscv/kernel/cpu_ops.c index 0ec22354018c..1985884fe829 100644 --- a/arch/riscv/kernel/cpu_ops.c +++ b/arch/riscv/kernel/cpu_ops.c @@ -15,8 +15,8 @@ const struct cpu_operations *cpu_ops[NR_CPUS] __ro_after_init; -void *__cpu_up_stack_pointer[NR_CPUS] __section(.data); -void *__cpu_up_task_pointer[NR_CPUS] __section(.data); +void *__cpu_up_stack_pointer[NR_CPUS] __section(".data"); +void *__cpu_up_task_pointer[NR_CPUS] __section(".data"); extern const struct cpu_operations cpu_ops_sbi; extern const struct cpu_operations cpu_ops_spinwait; -- cgit
