From 4b4665e13cef9ba66f3ce53548e6bf49530de2e5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Eric Paris Date: Tue, 18 Mar 2014 15:35:57 -0400 Subject: UM: implement syscall_get_arch() This patch defines syscall_get_arch() for the um platform. It adds a new syscall.h header file to define this. It copies the HOST_AUDIT_ARCH definition from ptrace.h. (that definition will be removed when we switch audit to use this new syscall_get_arch() function) Based-on-patch-by: Richard Briggs Signed-off-by: Eric Paris Cc: user-mode-linux-devel@lists.sourceforge.net --- arch/x86/um/asm/syscall.h | 15 +++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 15 insertions(+) create mode 100644 arch/x86/um/asm/syscall.h (limited to 'arch/x86/um/asm') diff --git a/arch/x86/um/asm/syscall.h b/arch/x86/um/asm/syscall.h new file mode 100644 index 000000000000..9fe77b7b5a0e --- /dev/null +++ b/arch/x86/um/asm/syscall.h @@ -0,0 +1,15 @@ +#ifndef __UM_ASM_SYSCALL_H +#define __UM_ASM_SYSCALL_H + +#include + +static inline int syscall_get_arch(void) +{ +#ifdef CONFIG_X86_32 + return AUDIT_ARCH_I386; +#else + return AUDIT_ARCH_X86_64; +#endif +} + +#endif /* __UM_ASM_SYSCALL_H */ -- cgit From 91397401bb5072f71e8ce8744ad0bdec3e875a91 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Eric Paris Date: Tue, 11 Mar 2014 13:29:28 -0400 Subject: ARCH: AUDIT: audit_syscall_entry() should not require the arch We have a function where the arch can be queried, syscall_get_arch(). So rather than have every single piece of arch specific code use and/or duplicate syscall_get_arch(), just have the audit code use the syscall_get_arch() code.
