From 33def8498fdde180023444b08e12b72a9efed41d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Joe Perches Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2020 19:36:07 -0700 Subject: treewide: Convert macro and uses of __section(foo) to __section("foo") Use a more generic form for __section that requires quotes to avoid complications with clang and gcc differences. Remove the quote operator # from compiler_attributes.h __section macro. Convert all unquoted __section(foo) uses to quoted __section("foo"). Also convert __attribute__((section("foo"))) uses to __section("foo") even if the __attribute__ has multiple list entry forms. Conversion done using the script at: https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/75393e5ddc272dc7403de74d645e6c6e0f4e70eb.camel@perches.com/2-convert_section.pl Signed-off-by: Joe Perches Reviewed-by: Nick Desaulniers Reviewed-by: Miguel Ojeda Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds --- fs/xfs/xfs_message.h | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'fs') diff --git a/fs/xfs/xfs_message.h b/fs/xfs/xfs_message.h index 4d9bd6bb63ca..3c392b1512ac 100644 --- a/fs/xfs/xfs_message.h +++ b/fs/xfs/xfs_message.h @@ -42,7 +42,7 @@ do { \ #define xfs_printk_once(func, dev, fmt, ...) \ ({ \ - static bool __section(.data.once) __print_once; \ + static bool __section(".data.once") __print_once; \ bool __ret_print_once = !__print_once; \ \ if (!__print_once) { \ -- cgit
