From 96f14fe738b69dd97a33efe3cc8ab330af5fd1f1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Laura Abbott Date: Mon, 9 Jul 2018 17:45:58 -0700 Subject: kbuild: Rename HOSTCFLAGS to KBUILD_HOSTCFLAGS In preparation for enabling command line CFLAGS, re-name HOSTCFLAGS to KBUILD_HOSTCFLAGS as the internal use only flags. This should not have any visible effects. Hence, every target using $(call filechk,...) must list something as the first prerequisite even if it is unneeded. '< $<' is actually unneeded in most cases. Each rule can explicitly adds it if necessary.
