2024-07-09wifi: mt76: mt7925: support for split bss_info_changed methodDeren Wu
The .bss_info_changed method is being split into .vif_cfg_changed and .link_info_changed to support MLD devices, but it will still support non-MLD devices. 2024-07-09wifi: mt76: mt792x: add struct mt792x_link_staDeren Wu
We are introducing a new structure, mt792x_link_sta, to manage per-link configurations in preparation for future station (STA) support of Multi-Link Operation (MLO). This patch only includes structural changes and does not involve any logic changes. We have moved relevant parameters, such as the wcid from the mt76_wcid structure, from the mt7921x_sta structure to the mt792x_link_sta structure. For current drivers that do not support MLO, there is only one link STA, and link information is accessed via the deflink member. However, we have not yet created the per-link BSS configuration indexed by link ID for Multi-Link Device (MLD) support in mt7921x_sta. This step needs to be completed before adding MLD support for STA mode. 2024-07-09wifi: mt76: mt792x: add struct mt792x_bss_confDeren Wu
We are introducing a new structure, mt792x_bss_conf, to manage per-link configurations in preparation for future STA support of Multi-Link Operation (MLO). The patch does not include any logic changes, only structural changes. We have moved relevant parameters from the mt7921x_vif structure such as to mt76 of mt76_vif structure, rssi and Tx queue parameters to mt7921x_bss_conf structure. We can access those members to configure the BSS for this interface, whether it is our own BSS or the one we are associated with. However, we have not yet created the per-link BSS configuration indexed by link ID for Multi-Link Device (MLD) support. This step needs to be extended before adding MLD support for AP mode. 2024-02-22wifi: mt76: mt7925: add support to set ifs time by mcu commandMing Yen Hsieh
There's a race between driver and fw on some tx/rx control registers when setting ifs, which will cause accidental hw queue pause problems. Avoid this by setting ifs time with bss_info mcu command. 2024-02-22wifi: mt76: mt7925: fix the wrong header translation configMing Yen Hsieh
The header translation config should set to broadcast and unicast cases correctly, not only unicast case. And also remove the cmds of wtbl (wlan table) series, because these MCU commands have already been replaced by other commands in mt7925. 2024-02-22wifi: mt76: mt7925: fix WoW failed in encrypted modeMing Yen Hsieh
When in suspend mode, WoW (Wake-on-WLAN) fails to wake the system remotely due to incorrect encryption mode settings. For the new mt7925 chipset, the old STA_REC_KEY_V2 command will send incorrect parameters to the firmware. Therefore, STA_REC_KEY_V3 has been introduced as a replacement for it. 2023-09-30wifi: mt76: mt7925: add Mediatek Wi-Fi7 driver for mt7925 chipsDeren Wu
Add mt7925, a new mac80211 driver for the MediaTek Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) device Filogic 360, which can support Station, AP, P2P, and monitor modes. Filogic 360 supports max 4096-QAM/160MHz radio operation at 6 GHz, 5 GHz, or 2.4 GHz with 2x2 antennas. This chip supports PCIe and USB bus type. mt7925 supports Wi-Fi 6E and EHT rate with single link only at this moment, whereas Wi-Fi 7 and its specific features are working in progress. They will be introduced in further patches. The driver is build tested by Intel's kernel test robot with both GCC and Clang with several architecture. Sparse reports no warnings.
