2025-05-01dt-bindings: arm: psci: change labels to lower-case in exampleKrzysztof Kozlowski
DTS coding style expects labels to be lowercase, so adjust the example code. No functional impact. 2023-09-28dt-bindings: arm, psci: Add missing unevaluatedProperties on child node schemasRob Herring
Just as unevaluatedProperties or additionalProperties are required at the top level of schemas, they should (and will) also be required for child node schemas. That ensures only documented properties are present for any node. 2023-06-20dt-bindings: arm: drop unneeded quotes and use absolute /schemas pathKrzysztof Kozlowski
Cleanup bindings dropping unneeded quotes. Once all these are fixed, checking for this can be enabled in yamllint. Also absolute path starting with /schemas is preferred. 2022-08-16dt-bindings: arm: psci: Relax and simplify compatible constraintsRob Herring
Even PSCI v1.0 compliant implementations may support v0.1 clients (i.e. "arm, psci"). Relax the compatible schema such that an implementation can claim 1.0, 0.2, and 0.1 compatibility. In the process, the schema can be simplified a bit by using 'minItems' instead of separate 'oneOf' entries. 2022-03-10dt-bindings: Add common bindings for ARM and RISC-V idle statesAnup Patel
The RISC-V CPU idle states will be described in under the /cpus/idle-states DT node in the same way as ARM CPU idle states. This patch adds common bindings documentation for both ARM and RISC-V idle states. 2020-05-03dt-bindings: Remove cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring
json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax. Scripted with ruamel.yaml with some manual fixups. Some minor whitespace changes from the script. 2020-03-31dt-bindings: arm: Add some constraints for PSCI nodesUlf Hansson
There's no point allowing anything else but "psci" for the corresponding nodename of the PSCI node, so let's make this an explicit requirement. Moreover, let's also prevent additional properties, which also allows a better verification of the "patternProperties" bindings for subnodes. 2020-03-06dt-bindings: arm: Fixup the DT bindings for hierarchical PSCI statesUlf Hansson
The hierarchical topology with power-domain should be described through child nodes, rather than as currently described in the PSCI root node. Fix this by adding a patternProperties with a corresponding reference to the power-domain DT binding. Additionally, update the example to conform to the new pattern, but also to the adjusted domain-idle-state DT binding. 2020-03-04dt-bindings: power: Convert domain-idle-states bindings to json-schemaUlf Hansson
While converting to the json-schema, let's also take the opportunity to further specify/clarify some more details about the DT binding. For example, let's define the label where to put the states nodes, set a pattern for nodename of the state nodes and finally add an example. 2020-01-02dt: psci: Update DT bindings to support hierarchical PSCI statesUlf Hansson
Update PSCI DT bindings to allow to represent idle states for CPUs and the CPU topology, by using a hierarchical layout. Primarily this is done by re-using the existing DT bindings for PM domains [1] and for PM domain idle states [2]. Let's also add an example into the document for the PSCI DT bindings, to clearly show the new hierarchical based layout. The currently supported flattened layout, is already described in the ARM idle states bindings [3], so let's leave that as is.
