2024-04-25ARM: dts: stm32: move can3 node from stm32f746 to stm32f769Dario Binacchi
According to documents [1], [2] and [3], we have 2 CAN devices on the stm32f746 platform and 3 on the stm32f769 platform. So let's move the can3 node from stm32f746.dtsi to stm32f769.dtsi. 2023-11-21ARM: dts: stm32: add SPI support on STM32F746Ben Wolsieffer
Add device tree nodes for the STM32F746 SPI controllers. Signed-off-by: Ben Wolsieffer <ben.wolsieffer@hefring.com> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Torgue <alexandre.torgue@foss.st.com>
2023-11-21ARM: dts: stm32: add STM32F746 syscfg clockBen Wolsieffer
The syscfg syscon was missing its clock, therefore any attempt to read/write it after clk_disable_unused() silently failed. This was preventing external pin interrupts from working if they were initialized after this point. 2023-07-11ARM: dts: stm32: re-add CAN support on stm32f746Dario Binacchi
The revert commit 36a6418bb1259 ("Revert "ARM: dts: stm32: add CAN support on stm32f746"") prevented parsing errors due to the lack of CAN3 binding. Now that the binding definition for CAN3 is available in the mainline thanks to commit 8f3ef556f8e1a ("dt-bindings: mfd: stm32f7: Add binding definition for CAN3"), we can re-add the CAN support and make the driver usable again. 2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups.
