2024-06-15arm64: dts: imx8mp: Enable HDMI on i.MX8MP DHCOM PDK2 and PDK3Marek Vasut
Enable HDMI output on i.MX8MP DHCOM PDK2 and PDK3. The I2C5 on PDK2 and I2C mux port 1 on PDK3 respectively are used in regular I2C mode instead of HDMI DDC mode to permit connection of other I2C devices on those buses. The pinctrl_hdmi node is part of the SoM DTSI already. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2024-04-02arm64: dts: imx8mp: Describe CSI2 GPIO expander on i.MX8MP DHCOM PDK3 boardMarek Vasut
The production PDK3 carrier board rev.200 contains additional GPIO expander to control power and reset signals for each CSI2 plug separately. Describe this expander in the carrier board DT. The label is used by sensor DTOs to reference the expander and its signals. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2024-02-05Revert "arm64: dts: imx8mp-dhcom-pdk3: Describe the USB-C connector"Fabio Estevam
This reverts commit a4dca89fe8a1585af73e362f5f4e3189a00abf8e. Marek reported: "This patch breaks USB-C port on this board. If I plug in USB-C storage device, it is not detected. If I revert this patch, it is detected. Please drop this patch for now." Revert it to avoid the regression. 2023-12-14arm64: dts: imx8mp-dhcom-pdk3: Describe the USB-C connectorFabio Estevam
Describe the PTN5150 USB-C connector to improve the devicetree description and fix the following dt-schema warning: imx8mp-dhcom-pdk3.dtb: typec@3d: 'port' does not match any of the regexes: 'pinctrl-[0-9]+' from schema $id: http://devicetree.org/schemas/extcon/extcon-ptn5150.yaml# Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <festevam@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2023-10-12arm64: dts: imx8mp: Drop i.MX8MP DHCOM rev.100 PHY address workaround from ↵Marek Vasut
PDK3 DT In case the i.MX8MP DHCOM rev.100 has been populated on the PDK3 carrier board, the on-SoM PHY PHYAD1 signal has been pulled high by the carrier board and changed the PHY MDIO address from 5 to 7. This has been fixed on production rev.200 SoM by additional buffer on the SoM PHYAD/LED signals, remove the workaround. 2023-10-12arm64: dts: imx8mp: Fix property indent on DH i.MX8M Plus DHCOM PDK3Marek Vasut
Fix indent to use tab indent. No functional change. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2023-09-25arm64: dts: imx8mp: Simplify USB C on DH i.MX8M Plus DHCOM PDK3Marek Vasut
Remove the connector as well as all the links and only connect the PTN5150 with xHCI controller. This is sufficient to implement the role switching. Furthermore, this makes resume work without hanging. Without this patch, the platform would hang on resume of 'connector'. 2023-05-27arm64: dts: imx8mp: Enable SAI audio on MX8MP DHCOM PDK2 and PDK3Marek Vasut
Add SAI I2S and audio bindings on MX8MP DHCOM PDK2 and PDK3. The VDDA is supplied from on-carrier-board regulator, the VDDIO is supplied from always-on on-SoM regulator. Except for different I2C bus used to connect the codec, the implementation is virtually identical on both carrier boards. Align regulator-avdd name to regulator-3p3vdd on PDK3, since this is the VDDA supply and it is the same on both carrier boards. 2023-05-27arm64: dts: imx8mp: Describe PCIe clock generator on DH electronics i.MX8M ↵Marek Vasut
Plus DHCOM on PDK3 The PDK3 carrier board contains a PCIe clock generator which is used to supply the PCIe clock lanes. This generator is always on, unless external CLKREQ signal toggles an output off, but this is handled in hardware. The generator does however have I2C interface, describe it in DT. 2023-03-27arm64: dts: imx8mp: Add support for DH electronics i.MX8M Plus DHCOM and PDK3Marek Vasut
Add support for DH electronics i.MX8M Plus DHCOM SoM on PDK3 carrier board. Currently supported are serial console, EQoS and FEC ethernets, eMMC, SD, SPI NOR, CAN, M.2 E-Key or M.2 M-Key PCIe, USB .
