2025-01-09arm64: dts: rockchip: Delete redundant RK3328 GMAC stability fixesDragan Simic
Since the commit 8a469ee35606 ("arm64: dts: rockchip: Add txpbl node for RK3399/RK3328"), having "snps, txpbl" properties defined as Ethernet stability fixes in RK3328-based board dts(i) files is redundant, because that commit added the required fix to the RK3328 SoC dtsi, so let's delete them. It has been determined that the Ethernet stability fixes no longer require "snps, rxpbl", "snps, aal" and "snps,force_thresh_dma_mode" properties, [1][2] out of which the last two also induce performance penalties, so let's delete these properties from the relevant RK3328-based board dts(i) files. This commit completes the removal of these redundant "snps,*" DT properties that was started by a patch from Peter Geis. 2024-11-11arm64: dts: rockchip: adapt regulator nodenames to preferred formJohan Jonker
The preferred nodename for fixed-regulators has changed to pattern: '^regulator(-[0-9]+v[0-9]+|-[0-9a-z-]+)?$' Fix all Rockchip DT regulator nodenames. 2024-10-22arm64: dts: rockchip: Drop rockchip prefix of s-p-c PMIC prop from rk3328Diederik de Haas
Property 'rockchip,system-power-controller' was deprecated in commit 961748bb1555 ("dt-bindings: mfd: rk8xx: Deprecate rockchip,system-power-controller") in the "rockchip,rk{805,808,809,817,818}.yaml" mtd bindings and its replacement is (just) 'system-power-controller'. Update the rk3328 DT files which still used the deprecated variant. 2023-12-12arm64: dts: rockchip: Remove ethernetX aliases from the SoC dtsi for RK3328Dragan Simic
Not all supported boards actually use the RK3328's built-in GMACs, while the SoC TRM and the datasheet don't define some standard numbering in this case. Thus, remove the ethernet0 and ethernet1 aliases from the RK3328 SoC dtsi file, and add the same alias back to the appropriate board dts(i) files. These changes also touch one RK3318-based board dts, because it actually depends on the RK3328 SoC dtsi and enables one of the GMACs. This is quite similar to the already performed migration of the mmcX aliases from the Rockchip SoC dtsi files to the board dts(i) files. 2022-03-05arm64: dts: rockchip: Add #clock-cells value for rk805Chris Morgan
Based on a brief discussion on the mailing list it was determined that clock-cells should be a required parameter in the event that a consumer of the clock gets added in an overlay. 2021-04-11arm64: dts: rockchip: move mmc aliases to board dts on rk3328Heiko Stuebner
As suggested by Arnd Bergmann, the newly added mmc aliases should be board specific, so move them from the general dtsi to the individual boards. 2020-05-19arm64: dts: rockchip: fix rtl8211f nodename for rk3328 Beelink A1Johan Jonker
A test with the command below gives this error: arch/arm64/boot/dts/rockchip/rk3328-a1.dt.yaml: phy@0: '#phy-cells' is a required property The rtl8211f node is used by a phy-handle. 2020-01-06arm64: dts: rockchip: Fix IR on Beelink A1Robin Murphy
Apparently I wasn't paying enough attention... And nor is the lazy test of `cat /dev/lirc0` sufficiently blunder-proof. Oh well, with the correct polarity, let's also hook up a keymap now that one for the standard Beelink remote has handily appeared. 2019-11-08arm64: dts: rockchip: Add Beelink A1Robin Murphy
Beelink A1 is a TV box implementing the higher-end options of the RK3328 reference design - the DTB from the stock Android firmware is clearly the "rk3328-box-plus" variant from the Rockchip 3.10 BSP with minor modifications to accommodate the USB WiFi module and additional VFD-style LED driver. It features: - 4GB of 32-bit LPDDR3 - 16GB of HS200 eMMC (newer models with 32GB also exist) - Realtek RTL8211F phy for gigabit ethernet - Fn-Link 6221E-UUC module (RealTek RTL8821CU) for 11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 - HDMI and analog A/V - 1x USB 3.0 type A host, 1x USB 2.0 type A OTG, 1x micro SD - IR receiver and a neat little LED clock display.
