2025-03-10Input: goodix_berlin - add support for Berlin-A seriesJens Reidel
The current implementation of the goodix_berlin driver lacks support for revisions A and B of the Berlin IC. This change adds support for the gt9897 IC, which is a Berlin-A revision part. The differences between revision D and A are rather minor, a handful of address changes and a slightly larger read buffer. They were taken from the driver published by Goodix, which does a few more things that don't appear to be necessary for the touchscreen to work properly. 2024-10-02move asm/unaligned.h to linux/unaligned.hAl Viro
asm/unaligned.h is always an include of asm-generic/unaligned.h; might as well move that thing to linux/unaligned.h and include that - there's nothing arch-specific in that header. auto-generated by the following: for i in `git grep -l -w asm/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done for i in `git grep -l -w asm-generic/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm-generic\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done git mv include/asm-generic/unaligned.h include/linux/unaligned.h git mv tools/include/asm-generic/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h sed -i -e "/unaligned.h/d" include/asm-generic/Kbuild sed -i -e "s/__ASM_GENERIC/__LINUX/" include/linux/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h
2024-07-19Input: goodix-berlin - add sysfs interface for reading and writing touch IC ↵Charles Wang
registers Export a sysfs interface that would allow reading and writing touchscreen IC registers. With this interface many things can be done in usersapce such as firmware updates. An example tool that utilizes this interface for performing firmware updates can be found at [1]. 2024-01-30Input: goodix-berlin - add SPI support for Goodix Berlin Touchscreen ICNeil Armstrong
Add initial support for the new Goodix "Berlin" touchscreen ICs over the SPI interface. The driver doesn't use the regmap_spi code since the SPI messages needs to be prefixed, thus this custom regmap code. This initial driver is derived from the Goodix goodix_ts_berlin available at [1] and [2] and only supports the GT9916 IC present on the Qualcomm SM8550 MTP & QRD touch panel. The current implementation only supports BerlinD, aka GT9916.
