2025-01-28wifi: libertas: Remove unused auto deep sleep codeDr. David Alan Gilbert
With the recent removal of the uncalled lbs_(enter|exit)_auto_deep_sleep() functions, it's no longer possible to set priv->is_auto_deep_sleep_enabled so we can remove all tests of it and the variable itself. With that gone, priv->wakeup_dev_required also doesn't get set, so we can remove any testing of it. Now the timer itself, and the function it calls goes. The timer used the apparently unset auto_deep_sleep_timeout member, which can also go. 2025-01-28wifi: libertas: cmd: remove unused functionsDr. David Alan Gilbert
lbs_get_snmp_mib(), lbs_set_power_adapt_cfg(), lbs_set_tpc_cfg() and lbs_set_tx_power() have been unused since 2010's commit e86dc1ca4676 ("Libertas: cfg80211 support"). Remove them. 2024-02-05wifi: libertas: fix some memleaks in lbs_allocate_cmd_buffer()Zhipeng Lu
In the for statement of lbs_allocate_cmd_buffer(), if the allocation of cmdarray[i].cmdbuf fails, both cmdarray and cmdarray[i].cmdbuf needs to be freed. Otherwise, there will be memleaks in lbs_allocate_cmd_buffer(). 2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier for missed filesThomas Gleixner
Add SPDX license identifiers to all files which: - Have no license information of any form - Have EXPORT_.*_SYMBOL_GPL inside which was used in the initial scan/conversion to ignore the file These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2017-05-24libertas: Remove function entry/exit debuggingKees Cook
In at least one place, the enter/exit debugging was not being correctly matched. Based on mailing list feedback, it was desired to drop all of these in favor of using ftrace instead. 2017-01-19libertas: fix improper return valuePan Bian
Function lbs_cmd_802_11_sleep_params() always return 0, even if the call to lbs_cmd_with_response() fails. In this case, the parameter @sp will keep uninitialized. Because the return value is 0, its caller (say lbs_sleepparams_read()) will not detect the error, and will copy the uninitialized stack memory to user sapce, resulting in stack information leak. To avoid the bug, this patch returns variable ret (which takes the return value of lbs_cmd_with_response()) instead of 0. 2016-04-12cfg80211: remove enum ieee80211_bandJohannes Berg
This enum is already perfectly aliased to enum nl80211_band, and the only reason for it is that we get IEEE80211_NUM_BANDS out of it. There's no really good reason to not declare the number of bands in nl80211 though, so do that and remove the cfg80211 one. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
2016-02-06libertas: go back to ps mode without commands pendingAndreas Kemnade
Removes the old todo block and checks only whether ieee powersave mode is requested. We still have to check for being connected as this powersave mode includes logic for regularly waking up and checking for packets which only makes sense when connected. For not being connected, another mode is needed. Signed-off-by: Andreas Kemnade <andreas@kemnade.info> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2016-02-06libertas: fix pointer bugs for PS_MODE commandsAndreas Kemnade
struct cmd_ds_802_11_ps_mode contains the command header and a pointer to it was initialized with data points to the body which leads to mis-interpretation of the cmd_ds_802_11_ps_mode.action member. cmd[0] contains the header, &cmd[1] points beyond that. cmdnode->cmdbuf is a pointer to the command buffer This piece of code was unused since power saving was not enabled.
