2024-12-02media: remove dead TI wl128x FM radio driverLukas Bulwahn
Commit 78fe66360ed6 ("misc: ti-st: st_kim: remove the driver") deletes the ti-st driver and its corresponding config option TI_ST. With that deletion, the Texas Instruments WL128x FM Radio driver is now dead as well. Delete this obsolete driver. 2019-08-26media: use the BIT() macroMauro Carvalho Chehab
As warned by cppcheck: [drivers/media/dvb-frontends/cx24123.c:434]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour [drivers/media/pci/bt8xx/bttv-input.c:87]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour [drivers/media/pci/bt8xx/bttv-input.c:98]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour ... [drivers/media/v4l2-core/v4l2-ioctl.c:1391]: (error) Shifting signed 32-bit value by 31 bits is undefined behaviour There are lots of places where we're doing 1 << 31. That's bad, as, depending on the architecture, this has an undefined behavior. The BIT() macro is already prepared to handle this, so, let's just switch all "1 << number" macros by BIT(number) at the header files with has 1 << 31. Drop the FSF's postal address from the source code files that typically contain mostly the license text. Of the 628 removed instances, 578 are outdated. The patch has been created with the following command without manual edits: git grep -l "675 Mass Ave\|59 Temple Place\|51 Franklin St" -- \ drivers/media/ include/media|while read i; do i=$i perl -e ' open(F,"< $ENV{i}"); $a=join("", <F>); $a =~ s/[ \t]*\*\n.*You should.*\n.*along with.*\n.*(\n.*USA.*$)?\n//m && $a =~ s/(^.*)Or, (point your browser to) /$1To obtain the license, $2\n$1/m; close(F); open(F, "> $ENV{i}"); print F $a; close(F);'; done Signed-off-by: Sakari Ailus <sakari.ailus@linux.intel.com>
