2015-10-21brcmfmac: expose device memory to devcoredump subsystemArend van Spriel
Upon PSM watchdog event received from firmware the driver will obtain a memory snapshot of the device and expose it to user-space through the devcoredump framework. This will trigger a uevent. 2015-09-29brcmfmac: Reset PCIE devices after recognition.Hante Meuleman
When PCIE type devices are being FW reloaded without being properly reset then the device ends up in a locked state, requiring the device to be completely powered down. This patch adds a reset through watchdog at the moment the device (cores) has been recognized. This will solve warm reboot issues. 2015-09-29brcmfmac: add dedicated debug level for firmware console loggingArend van Spriel
Both PCIe and SDIO devices have the possibility to log the firmware console output in kernel log. For PCIe it is logged when PCIE debug level is enabled. For SDIO it is logged when user specifies a non-zero console interval through debugfs. This patch tries to make it a bit more consistent. The firmware console output is only logged when FWCON debug level is enabled. 2015-06-15brcmfmac: remove watchdog reset from brcmf_pcie_buscoreprep()Arend van Spriel
The watchdog reset as done in brcmf_pcie_buscoreprep() is not sufficient. It needs to modify PCIe core registers as well which is properly done by brcmf_pcie_reset_device() after the chip recognition is done. So the faulty watchdog reset can be removed as it was causing driver reload to fail and hang the system requiring a power-cycle. Instead the call to to the brcmf_pcie_reset_device() function is done twice in the unload. 2015-05-26brcmfmac: add support for dma indices featureFranky Lin
PCIe full dongle firmware can support a dma indices feature with which firmware can update/fetch the read/write indices of message buffer rings on both host to dongle and dongle to host directions. The support is announced by firmware through shared flags. 2015-05-09brcmfmac: Add support for multiple PCIE devices in nvram.Hante Meuleman
With PCIE it is possible to support multiple devices with the same device type. They all load the same nvram file. In order to support this the nvram can specify which part of the nvram is for which pcie device. This patch adds support for these new types of nvram files. 2015-01-29brcmfmac: SDIO: avoid using bus state for private states.Hante Meuleman
Each bus driver is maintaing an exported bus state indicating if upper layers can or cannot send data. SDIO is using this state also for more private states. This makes handling the states and state changes complex. This patch minimises the exposed states and makes SDIO keep track of an internal state where necessary. 2014-11-20brcmfmac: don't include linux/unaligned/access_ok.hJohannes Berg
This is a specific implementation, <asm/unaligned.h> is the multiplexer that has the arch-specific knowledge of which of the implementations needs to be used, so include that. This issue was revealed by kbuild testing when <asm/unaligned.h> was added in <linux/ieee80211.h> resulting in redefinition of get_unaligned_be16 (and probably others).
