2020-05-06video: fbdev: w100fb: Fix a potential double free.Christophe JAILLET
Some memory is vmalloc'ed in the 'w100fb_save_vidmem' function and freed in the 'w100fb_restore_vidmem' function. (these functions are called respectively from the 'suspend' and the 'resume' functions) However, it is also freed in the 'remove' function. In order to avoid a potential double free, set the corresponding pointer to NULL once freed in the 'w100fb_restore_vidmem' function. 2020-04-29backlight: l4f00242t03: Convert to GPIO descriptorsLinus Walleij
This converts the l4f00242t03 backlight driver to use GPIO descriptors and switches the two Freescale i.MX boards over to passing descriptors instead of global GPIO numbers. We use the typical names "enable" and "reset" as found in the device tree bindings for panel GPIOs. This saves a lot of code in the driver and makes it possible to get rid of the platform data header altogether. The fbdev framework doesn't care to call the .set_power callback only on changes. So the driver has to care for itself that the regulator doesn't get disabled more often than enabled. This fixes the regulator warning unbalanced disables for lcd supply which can be triggered by doing echo 4 > /sys/class/lcd/imxfb-lcd/lcd_power twice.
