2024-10-03ASoC: dt-bindings: Deprecate {hp,mic}-det-gpioGeert Uytterhoeven
Commit 2071d0968e564b4b ("Documentation: gpio: guidelines for bindings") deprecated the "gpio" suffix for GPIO consumers in favor of the "gpios" suffix. Update the Audio Graph and Simple Audio Card DT bindings to reflect this. 2023-07-09ASoC: dt-bindings: simple-card: Add additional-devs subnodeHerve Codina
The additional-devs subnode allows to declared some virtual devices as sound card children. These virtual devices can then be used by the sound card and so be present in the audio path. The first virtual device supported is the audio IIO auxiliary device in order to support an IIO device as an audio auxiliary device. The simple-audio-card,dai-link node does not allow address/size-cells thus children (cpu, codec) should come without unit addresses. 2020-06-11dt-bindings: Remove more cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring
Another round of 'allOf' removals that came in this cycle. json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
