2023-01-20ARM: pxa: remove irda leftoverArnd Bergmann
irda support was removed a long time ago, so stop registering the devices from the pxa machine. Acked-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2022-05-07ARM: pxa: move mach/*.h to mach-pxa/Arnd Bergmann
None of the headers are included from outside of the mach-pxa directory, so move them all in there. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2022-05-07ARM: pxa: move smemc register access from clk to platformArnd Bergmann
The get_sdram_rows() and get_memclkdiv() helpers need smemc register that are separate from the clk registers, move them out of the clk driver, and use an extern declaration instead. 2022-04-19ARM: pxa: split up mach/hardware.hArnd Bergmann
The mach/hardware.h is included in lots of places, and it provides three different things on pxa: - the cpu_is_pxa* macros - an indirect inclusion of mach/addr-map.h - the __REG() and io_pv2() helper macros Split it up into separate <linux/soc/pxa/cpu.h> and mach/pxa-regs.h headers, then change all the files that use mach/hardware.h to include the exact set of those three headers that they actually need, allowing for further more targeted cleanup. linux/soc/pxa/cpu.h can remain permanently exported and is now in a global location along with similar headers. pxa-regs.h and addr-map.h are only used in a very small number of drivers now and can be moved to arch/arm/mach-pxa/ directly when those drivers are to pass the necessary data as resources. 2015-12-01ARM: pxa: make more mach/*.h files localArnd Bergmann
Lots of header files are never included outside of a mach-pxa directory and do not need to be made visible in include/mach, so let's just move them all down one level. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2012-09-14ARM: pxa: move platform_data definitionsArnd Bergmann
Platform data for device drivers should be defined in include/linux/platform_data/*.h, not in the architecture and platform specific directories. 2012-03-25ARM: pxa: use common IOMEM definitionRob Herring
pxa was missed in the moving of IOMEM to a common definition, so lots of IOMEM redefined warnings were introduced. So remove pxa IOMEM definition and fix all the fallout. 2009-03-09[ARM] pxa: introduce pxa{25x,27x,300,320,930}.h for board usageEric Miao
Considering the header mess ATM, it is not always possible to include the correct header files within board code. Let's keep this simple: <mach/pxa25x.h> - for pxa25x based platforms <mach/pxa27x.h> - for pxa27x based platforms <mach/pxa300.h> - for pxa300 based platforms <mach/pxa320.h> - for pxa320 based platforms <mach/pxa930.h> - for pxa930 based platforms NOTE: 1. one header one board file, they are not compatible (i.e. they have conflicting definitions which won't compile if included together). 2. Unless strictly necessary, the following header files are considered to be SoC files use _only_, and is not recommended to be included in board code: <mach/hardware.h> <mach/pxa-regs.h> <mach/pxa2xx-regs.h> <mach/pxa3xx-regs.h> <mach/mfp.h> <mach/mfp-pxa2xx.h> <mach/mfp-pxa25x.h> <mach/mfp-pxa27x.h> <mach/mfp-pxa3xx.h> <mach/mfp-pxa300.h> <mach/mfp-pxa320.h> <mach/mfp-pxa930.h> Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>

2008-08-05[ARM] pxa: introduce reset_status and clear_reset_status for driver's usageEric Miao
Due to the problem of reset status bits being handled by different registers between pxa2xx and pxa3xx, introduce a global reset_status variable, initialized by SoC-specific code and later being used by other drivers. And also introduce clear_reset_status(), which is used to clear the corresponding status bits. Pass RESET_STATUS_ALL to clear all bits. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
