lvds-encoder.c implementation is also suitable for LVDS decoders,
not just LVDS encoders.
Instead of creating a new driver for addressing support for
transparent LVDS decoders, repurpose lvds-encoder.c for the greater
good with this patch.
This patch only "rebrands" the lvds-encoder.c driver, to make it
suitable for hosting LVDS decoders support. The actual support for
LVDS decoders will come with a later patch.

The drm panel bridge creates a connector using a connector type
explicitly passed by the display controller or bridge driver that
instantiates the panel bridge. Now that drm_panel reports its connector
type, we can use it to avoid passing an explicit (and often incorrect)
connector type to drm_panel_bridge_add() and
devm_drm_panel_bridge_add().
Several drivers report incorrect or unknown connector types to
userspace. Reporting a different type may result in a breakage. For that
reason, rename (devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add() to
(devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add_typed(), and add new
(devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add() functions that use the panel connector
type. Update all callers of (devm_)drm_panel_bridge_add() to the _typed
function, they will be converted one by one after testing.
The panel drivers have been updated with the following Coccinelle
semantic patch, with manual inspection and fixes to indentation.

Right now, the DRM panel logic returns NULL when a panel pointing to
the passed OF node is not present in the list of registered panels.
Most drivers interpret this NULL value as -EPROBE_DEFER, but we are
about to modify the semantic of of_drm_find_panel() and let the
framework return -ENODEV when the device node we're pointing to has
a status property that is not equal to "okay" or "ok".
Let's first patch the of_drm_find_panel() implementation to return
ERR_PTR(-EPROBE_DEFER) instead of NULL and patch all callers to replace
the '!panel' check by an 'IS_ERR(panel)' one.

The panel_bridge bridge attaches to the panel's OF node, not the
lvds-encoder's node. Put in a little no-op bridge of our own so that
our consumers can still find a bridge where they expect.
This also fixes an unintended unregistration and leak of the
panel-bridge on module remove.

Many DRM drivers have common code to make a stub connector
implementation that wraps a drm_panel. By wrapping the panel in a DRM
bridge, all of the connector code (including calls during encoder
enable/disable) goes away.
v2: Fix build with CONFIG_DRM=m, drop "dev" argument that should just
be the panel's dev, move kerneldoc up a level and document
_remove().
v3: Fix another breakage with CONFIG_DRM=m, fix breakage with
CONFIG_OF=n, move protos under CONFIG_DRM_PANEL_BRIDGE, wrap a
line.

The THC63LVDM83D is a transparent LVDS encoder. Unlike dumb LVDS
encoders it can be controlled through a few pins (power down, LVDS
swing, clock edge selection) and requires power supplies. However, on
several boards where the device is used neither the control pins nor the
power supply are controllable.
To avoid developing a separate device-specific driver add a
"thine,thc63lvdm83d" compatible entry to the lvds-encoder driver. This
will allow supporting many THC63LVDM83D-based boards easily, while
allowing future development of an thc63lvdm83d driver when needed
without breaking backward compatibility.

The LVDS encoder driver is a DRM bridge driver that supports the
parallel to LVDS encoders that don't require any configuration. The
driver thus doesn't interact with the device, but creates an LVDS
connector for the panel and exposes its size and timing based on
information retrieved from DT.
