2022-08-21IB: move from strlcpy with unused retval to strscpyWolfram Sang
Follow the advice of the below link and prefer 'strscpy' in this subsystem. Conversion is 1:1 because the return value is not used. Generated by a coccinelle script. 2020-02-27RDMA/opa_vnic: Delete driver versionLeon Romanovsky
The default version provided by "ethtool -i" it the correct way to identify Driver version. There is no need to overwrite it. 2019-12-09treewide: Use sizeof_field() macroPankaj Bharadiya
Replace all the occurrences of FIELD_SIZEOF() with sizeof_field() except at places where these are defined. Later patches will remove the unused definition of FIELD_SIZEOF(). This patch is generated using following script: EXCLUDE_FILES="include/linux/stddef.h|include/linux/kernel.h" git grep -l -e "\bFIELD_SIZEOF\b" | while read file; do if [[ "$file" =~ $EXCLUDE_FILES ]]; then continue fi sed -i -e 's/\bFIELD_SIZEOF\b/sizeof_field/g' $file; done Signed-off-by: Pankaj Bharadiya <pankaj.laxminarayan.bharadiya@intel.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20190924105839.110713-3-pankaj.laxminarayan.bharadiya@intel.com Co-developed-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org> Acked-by: David Miller <davem@davemloft.net> # for net
2017-06-29IB/opa_vnic: Use spinlock instead of mutex for stats_lockVishwanathapura, Niranjana
Stats can be read from atomic context, hence make stats_lock as a spinlock. Fix the following trace with debug kernel. 2017-04-20IB/opa-vnic: VNIC Ethernet Management Agent (VEMA) functionVishwanathapura, Niranjana
OPA VEMA function interfaces with the Infiniband MAD stack to exchange the management information packets with the Ethernet Manager (EM). It interfaces with the OPA VNIC netdev function to SET/GET the management information. The information exchanged with the EM includes class port details, encapsulation configuration, various counters, unicast and multicast MAC list and the MAC table. It also supports sending traps to the EM. 2017-04-20IB/opa-vnic: VNIC statistics supportVishwanathapura, Niranjana
OPA VNIC driver statistics support maintains various counters including standard netdev counters and the Ethernet manager defined counters. Add the Ethtool hook to read the counters. 2017-04-20IB/opa-vnic: Virtual Network Interface Controller (VNIC) netdevVishwanathapura, Niranjana
OPA VNIC netdev function supports Ethernet functionality over Omni-Path fabric by encapsulating Ethernet packets inside Omni-Path packet header. It allocates a rdma netdev device and interfaces with the network stack to provide standard Ethernet network interfaces. It overrides HFI1 device's netdev operations where it is required.
