Once device_register() failed, we should call put_device() to
decrement reference count for cleanup. Or it could cause memory leak.
And move callback function v4l2_device_release() and v4l2_device_get()
before put_device().
As comment of device_register() says, 'NOTE: _Never_ directly free
@dev after calling this function, even if it returned an error! Always
use put_device() to give up the reference initialized in this function
instead.'

v4l2_find_nearest_size() returns a mode from sensor driver's mode list
that is a best match width and height wise for the sensor. Some drivers
have different set of available modes depending on the number of lanes.
While this could be handled within a driver by providing different lists
of modes, provide a helper v4l2_find_nearest_size_conditional() to ignore
modes that aren't available.
Also use size_t for the array index and remove extra commas while at it.

Add NV15 and NV20 pixel formats used by the Rockchip Video Decoder for
10-bit buffers.
NV15 and NV20 is 10-bit 4:2:0/4:2:2 semi-planar YUV formats similar to
NV12 and NV16, using 10-bit components with no padding between each
component. Instead, a group of 4 luminance/chrominance samples are
stored over 5 bytes in little endian order:
YYYY = UVUV = 4 * 10 bits = 40 bits = 5 bytes
The '15' and '20' suffix refers to the optimum effective bits per pixel
which is achieved when the total number of luminance samples is a
multiple of 8 for NV15 and 4 for NV20.

When creating links from a subdev to a sink, the current logic tries to
iterate over the endpoints of dev's fwnode.
This might not be correct when the subdev uses a different fwnode
compared to the dev's fwnode.
If, when registering, the subdev's fwnode is not set, the code inside
v4l2_async_register_subdev will set it to the dev's fwnode.
To fix this, just use the subdev's fwnode.

Controls can be exposed to userspace via a v4l-subdevX device, and
userspace has to be able to subscribe to control events so that it is
notified when the control changes value. If a control handler is set for
the subdev then set the HAS_EVENTS flag automatically into
v4l2_subdev_init_finalize() and use v4l2_ctrl_subdev_subscribe_event() and
v4l2_event_subdev_unsubscribe() as default if subdev don't have
.(un)subscribe control operations. This simplifies subdev drivers by
avoiding the need to set the V4L2_SUBDEV_FL_HAS_EVENTS flag and plug the
event handlers, and ensures consistency of the API exposed to userspace.

The v4l2_detect_cvt/gtf functions should check the result against the
timing capabilities: these functions calculate the timings, so if they
are out of bounds, they should be rejected.
To do this, add the struct v4l2_dv_timings_cap as argument to those
functions.
This required updates to the adv7604 and adv7842 drivers since the
prototype of these functions has now changed. The timings struct
that is passed to v4l2_detect_cvt/gtf in those two drivers is filled
with the timings detected by the hardware.
The vivid driver was also updated, but an additional check was added:
the width and height specified by VIDIOC_S_DV_TIMINGS has to match the
calculated result, otherwise something went wrong. Note that vivid
*emulates* hardware, so all the values passed to the v4l2_detect_cvt/gtf
functions came from the timings struct that was filled by userspace
and passed on to the driver via VIDIOC_S_DV_TIMINGS. So these fields
can contain random data. Both the constraints check via
struct v4l2_dv_timings_cap and the additional width/height check
ensure that the resulting timings are sane and not messed up by the
v4l2_detect_cvt/gtf calculations.

As detected by Coverity, the error check logic at get_ctrl() is
broken: if ptr_to_user() fails to fill a control due to an error,
no errors are returned and v4l2_g_ctrl() returns success on a

Add an error check at get_ctrl() and ensure that it will
be returned to userspace without filling the control value if
get_ctrl() fails.

call_get_frame_desc()
The `get_frame_desc()` operation should always be called on a source pad,
which is indicated by the `MEDIA_PAD_FL_SOURCE` flag. This patch adds a
check in `call_get_frame_desc()` to ensure that the `MEDIA_PAD_FL_SOURCE`
flag is set for the pad before invoking `get_frame_desc()`. If the pad is
not a source pad, the function will return an `-EOPNOTSUPP` error,
signaling that the operation is not supported on non-source pads.

The v4l2_subdev_link_validate() helper function is meant to be used as a
drop-in implementation of a V4L2 subdev entity .link_validate() handler.
It supports subdev-to-subdev links only, and complains if one end of the
link is not a subdev. This forces drivers that have video output devices
connected to subdevs to implement a custom .link_validate() handler,
calling v4l2_subdev_link_validate() for the subdev-to-subdev links, and
performing manual link validation for the video-to-subdev links.
Video devices embed a media entity, and therefore also have a
.link_validate() operation. For video capture devices, the operation
should be manually implemented by drivers for validate the
subdev-to-video links. For video output devices, on the other hand, that
operation is never called, as link validation is performed in the
context of the sink entity.
As a result, we end up forcing drivers to implement a custom
.link_validate() handler for subdevs connected to video output devices,
when the video devices provide an operation that could be used for that
purpose.
To improve that situation, make v4l2_subdev_link_validate() delegate
link validation to the source's .link_validate() operation when the link
source is a video device and the link sink is a subdev. This allows
broader usage of v4l2_subdev_link_validate(), and simplifies drivers by
making video device link validation easy to implement in the video
device .link_validate(), regardless of whether the video device is an
output device or a capture device.

The v4l2_subdev_link_validate() function prints a one-time warning if it
gets called on a link whose source or sink is not a subdev. As links get
validated in the context of their sink, a call to the helper when the
link's sink is not a subdev indicates that the driver has set its
.link_validate() handler to v4l2_subdev_link_validate() on a non-subdev
entity, which is a clear driver bug. On the other hand, the link's
source not being a subdev indicates that the helper is used for a subdev
connected to a video output device, which is a lesser issue, if only
because this is currently common practice.
There are no drivers left in the kernel that use
v4l2_subdev_link_validate() in a context where it may get called on a
non-subdev sink. Replace the pr_warn_once() with a WARN_ON_ONCE() in
this case to make sure that new offenders won't be introduced.
A subsequent change will improve the v4l2_subdev_link_validate() helper
to properly support validating video device to subdev links.

Export reference quantization and huffman tables as provided in ITU-T.81 so
that they can be re-used by other JPEG drivers.
These are example tables provided in ITU-T.81 as reference tables and the
JPEG encoders are free to use either these or their own proprietary tables.
Also add necessary prefixes to be used for huffman tables in global header
file.

The v4l2_subdev_link_validate_get_format() function warns if the pad
given as argument belongs to a non-subdev entity. This can't happen, as
the function is called from v4l2_subdev_link_validate() only (indirectly
through v4l2_subdev_link_validate_locked()), and that function ensures
that both ends of the link are subdevs.
