2015-10-14mwifiex: control WLAN and bluetooth coexistence modesAmitkumar Karwar
By default our chip will be in spatial coexistence mode. This patch adds a provision to change it to timeshare mode via debugfs command. Enable timeshare coexistence mode echo 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/mwifiex/mlan0/timeshare_coex Go back to spacial coexistence mode echo 0 > /sys/kernel/debug/mwifiex/mlan0/timeshare_coex Signed-off-by: Amitkumar Karwar <akarwar@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2015-09-29mwifiex: fix driver init failure under memory pressureXinming Hu
64k Tx and Rx buffers are allocated during driver initialization for SDIO level data aggregations. When host is under memory pressure situation, kzalloc() request for 64k may fail. We will try allocating 32k buffers and disable our rx single port aggreagation feature in this situation. If the allocation still fails, we will disable our sdio multport aggregation feature as well. In this way, we will transmit and receive packets one by one, thus reduce the demand for big memory. 2015-07-21mwifiex: fix for p2p broken linkAniket Nagarnaik
This patch fixes following issues in p2p code paths. 1) bss role, bss type and connection type was not set correctly for p2p GO and p2p client at couple of places. 2) Driver appends a proprietary header to management frames which will be parsed by our firmware. Later while informing TX status to cfg80211, modified frame buffer was passed to cfg80211_mgmt_tx_status() instead of original one. 2015-07-21mwifiex: advertise multichannel support to cfg80211Avinash Patil
This patch adds support to advetise mwifiex multichannel support to cfg80211. If module parameter drcs is enabled and FW supports multichannel operation we advertise this support to cfg80211. As of now 2 simultaneous channels are supported. Signed-off-by: Avinash Patil <patila@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2015-07-21mwifiex: support to set multichannel policy to FWAvinash Patil
This patch adds support for setting multichannel policy as module parameter to FW. Value of 1 indicates Multichannel support is enabled and value of 0 disables it. Signed-off-by: Avinash Patil <patila@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>

2015-05-26mwifiex: add support for FW memory read/write operationsChin-ran Lo
This patch adds support for FW memory read/write operations via debugfs. This is useful during debugging FW issues. Examples: For reading FW memory location: echo r 0x01ac > /sys/kernel/debug/mwifiex/mlan0/memrw cat /sys/kernel/debug/mwifiex/mlan0/memrw For writing FW memory location: echo w 0x01ac 0x55aa > /sys/kernel/debug/mwifiex/mlan0/memrw Signed-off-by: Chin-ran Lo <crlo@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Cathy Luo <cluo@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Avinash Patil <patila@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
2015-03-16mwifiex: add SDIO rx single port aggregationZhaoyang Liu
This patch brings in support for SDIO single port rx aggregation to mwifiex. Maximum read size support by SDIO cmd53 is 64K. Based on multi port aggregation which is already part of mwifiex, idea here is multiple packets received in FW can be aggregated into single buffer. A separate upload type is defined for such packet aggregated to single port. Packets from this single buffer are later deaggregated into individual packets. This way, driver can receive more packets each time through single SDIO cmd53; thereby reducing no of times MMC bus is accessed. SDIO SP aggregation support is advertised by FW during load time and driver would get FW block size in command response of HostCmd_CMD_SDIO_SP_RX_AGGR_CFG. 2015-03-16mwifiex: Add support for auto ARP in mwifiex.Maithili Hinge
This patch adds support for auto ARP feature in mwifiex. The device will respond to ARP requests from the network with ARP response in suspended state without waking up the host. 2015-01-29mwifiex: add cfg80211 start_radar_detection handlerAvinash Patil
This patch adds support for cfg80211 start_radar_detection handler. Upon reception of start_radar_detection, driver prepares radar detect command to FW. Delayed work is queued for CAC time which sends radar detection finished event to cfg80211. 2015-01-29mwifiex: add init parameter to init command routineAvinash Patil

2015-01-06mwifiex: module parameter for deep sleep configurationAvinash Patil
This patch adds module parameter for auto deepsleep configuration. By default, module_param is 0 and auto deep sleep is enabled. If mwifiex driver is loaded with disable_auto_ds=1, deep sleep configuration would not be downloaded to FW and FW would not enter deepsleep upon initializing. 2014-09-30mwifiex: add client mac address while configuring keys on GO.Maithili Hinge
When mwifiex device becomes GO, unicast traffic between client1 and GO stops when client2 connects to GO. Reason behind this was PTK getting overwritten by key_material command for client2 as it did not have client mac address. So, client1 can no more decode GO's ping packets though it responds to its broadcast packets. This patch adds case to check for BSS_ROLE instead of bss_type to set client mac address while configuring keys when device becomes GO. 2013-12-18mwifiex: download per country tx power table to firmwareBing Zhao
When driver gets regulatory domain change notifications or before associates to an AP with Country IE, the txpwrlimit table stored in device tree for that country is downloaded to firmware. The txpwrlimit downloading will happen only at the first time when the alpha2 country code is changed. World regulatory domain "00" notification doesn't trigger the downloading. 2013-08-09mwifiex: add packet coalesce supportAmitkumar Karwar
Coalesce filters are configured in firmware based on settings received from cfg80211. Packet type which is required by firmware is determined based on provided patterns in a rule: Unicast: if pattern '01' with offset 0 is found Multicast: if pattern '33:33' or '01:00:5e' with offset 0 is found Broadcast: if pattern 'ff:ff:ff:ff' with offset 0 is found Some example coalesce configuration files: 1) Coalesce Rx data packets from 192.168.0.88 mac address of our device is 00:50:43:21:53:7A Source IP address offset comes out as 52 after following calculations: 32 bytes of HW 802.11 header + 8 bytes LLC + 12 bytes in IPV4 header till source IP address Destination mac is at offset 6 in HW header. delay=100 condition=1 patterns=01,6+00:50:43:22,10+53:7A,52+c0:a8:00:58 2) Coalesce all broadcast and multicast packets(Multiple packet types are not allowed in a single rule. 2012-09-28mwifiex: send firmware initialization commands synchronouslyStone Piao
The driver will send some commands to firmware during the initialization. Currently these commands are sent asynchronously, which means that we firstly insert all of them to a pre-allocated command queue, and then start to process them one by one. The command queue will soon be exhausted if we keep adding new initialization commands. This issue can be resolved by sending initialization commands synchronously because each command is consumed and the buffer is recycled before queuing next command.
