Replace the existing /* fall through */ comments and its variants with
the new pseudo-keyword macro fallthrough[1]. Also, remove unnecessary
fall-through markings when it is the case.

The problem is that the group key was saved as VNT_KEY_DEFAULTKEY
was over written by the VNT_KEY_GROUP_ADDRESS index.
mac80211 could not clear the mac_addr in the default key.
The VNT_KEY_DEFAULTKEY is not necesscary so remove it and set as
VNT_KEY_GROUP_ADDRESS.
mac80211 can clear any key using vnt_mac_disable_keyentry.

In preparation to enabling -Wimplicit-fallthrough, mark switch
cases where we are expecting to fall through.
This patch fixes the following warnings:

Now that the SPDX tag is in all vt6656 files, that identifies the
license in a specific and legally-defined manner. So the extra GPL text
wording can be removed as it is no longer needed at all.
This is done on a quest to remove the 700+ different ways that files in
the kernel describe the GPL license text. And there's unneeded stuff
like the address (sometimes incorrect) for the FSF which is never
needed.
No copyright headers or other non-license-description text was removed.

It's good to have SPDX identifiers in all files to make it easier to
audit the kernel tree for correct licenses.
Update the vt6656 driver files with the correct SPDX license identifier
based on the license text in the file itself. The SPDX identifier is a
legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler
plate text.
This work is based on a script and data from Thomas Gleixner, Philippe
Ombredanne, and Kate Stewart.

the assigned variable. The following Coccinelle semantic patch was used to make this transformation:

The device refuses to associate to older access points even though in
the logs it appears to be associated in tkip or ccmp mode.
Clear bit from key_entry_inuse in pairwise key so the entry is over written
by group address.
This doesn't seem to make any difference to newer access points and
is a temporary fix until a better solution is found.

Create vnt_key_init_table to replace KeyvInitTable.
Create vnt_set_keymode to handle key setting operations with five different
modes VNT_KEY_DEFAULTKEY, VNT_KEY_GROUP_ADDRESS, VNT_KEY_ALLGROUP, VNT_KEY_GROUP
and VNT_KEY_PAIRWISE. VNT_KEY_ONFLY and VNT_KEY_ONFLY_ALL are for when
key latching in driver is not required.
Create vnt_set_keys to handle mac80211 key cipher modes, four modes are
supported WLAN_CIPHER_SUITE_WEP40, WLAN_CIPHER_SUITE_WEP104, WLAN_CIPHER_SUITE_TKIP
and WLAN_CIPHER_SUITE_CCMP.

Preliminary to removing compare_ether_addr altogether:
Use the new bool function ether_addr_equal to add
some clarity and reduce the likelihood for misuse
of compare_ether_addr for sorting.
Additionally:
Used is_zero_ether_addr, removed now unused variable
Converted uses of &foo[0] to foo
Done via cocci script: (and a little typing)
$ cat compare_ether_addr.cocci
