2024-08-01ASoC: intel/sdw_utils: move cirrus soundwire codec helper functionsVijendar Mukunda
To make it generic, move Cirrus Soundwire codec helper functions to common place holder so that it can be used by other platform machine driver. 2024-08-01ASoC: intel: split soundwire machine driver private dataVijendar Mukunda
Split intel generic SoundWire machine driver private data into two structures. One structure is generic one which can be used by other platform machine driver and the other one is intel specific one. Move generic machine driver private data to soc_sdw_utils.h. Define a void pointer in generic machine driver private data structure and assign the vendor specific structure in mc_probe() call. 2024-08-01ASoC: intel: rename codec_info and dai_info structures namesVijendar Mukunda
To make it generic, rename structure 'sof_sdw_codec_info' as 'asoc_sdw_codec_info' and 'sof_sdw_dai_info' as 'asoc_sdw_dai_info'. These structures will be moved to common header file so that it can be used by other platform machine driver. 2024-05-10ASoC: Intel: sof_sdw: add dai parameter to rtd_init callbackBard Liao

2024-04-30ASoC: intel: sof_sdw: Add support for cs42l43-cs35l56 sidecar ampsMaciej Strozek
The cs42l43 has both a SPI master and an I2S interface, these can be used to populate 2 cs35l56 amplifiers as sidecar devices along side the cs42l43. Giving a system that looks like: +-----+ +---------+ <- SPI -> +---------+ | CPU | <- SDW -> | CS42L43 | | CS35L56 | +-----+ +---------+ <- I2S -> +---------+ Add a quirk to specify this feature is present and use it to add codec to codec DAI link to connect the amplifiers into the sound card, add appropriate widgets, and setup clocking on the amplifiers. 2024-03-26ASoC: Intel: sof_sdw: Add support for cs42l43 optional speaker outputCharles Keepax
Add support for the optional speaker output on the cs42l43, this uses the new SOF_CODEC_SPKR quirk to conditional include the speaker DAI link. It is worth noting that currently no systems are included that utilise this feature, but the feature is added as several systems are on the horizon. As part of this SOF_SDW_MAX_DAI_NUM must be increased, it is currently 3 but cs42l43 will now have 4 DAI links. This value is increased to 8 to give some head room for future devices. 2024-02-08ASoC: Intel: sof_sdw: add common sdw dai link initBard Liao
Currently, we set sdw dai link .init callback in the codec_info_list's dais.init function. This works fine if all codecs in the dai link are the same. However, we need to do all the .init stuff for all different codecs in the dai link if not all codecs in the dai link are the same. Use a common dai link .init callback to call the new rtd_init callback in sof_sdw_dai_info{} to do rtd_init for each dai. Some codec init callback will become empty after this change. They will be removed in the follow up patch.
