2025-03-02crypto: octeontx - Remove unused function otx_cpt_eng_grp_has_eng_typeDr. David Alan Gilbert
otx_cpt_eng_grp_has_eng_type() was added in 2020 by commit d9110b0b01ff ("crypto: marvell - add support for OCTEON TX CPT engine") but has remained unused. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Dr. David Alan Gilbert <linux@treblig.org> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2025-02-09crypto: drivers - Use str_enable_disable-like helpersKrzysztof Kozlowski
Replace ternary (condition ? "enable" : "disable") syntax with helpers from string_choices.h because: 1. Simple function call with one argument is easier to read. Ternary operator has three arguments and with wrapping might lead to quite long code. 2. Is slightly shorter thus also easier to read. 3. It brings uniformity in the text - same string. 4. Allows deduping by the linker, which results in a smaller binary file. 2022-12-02crypto: marvell/octeontx - remove redundant NULL checkYushan Zhou
release_firmware() checks whether firmware pointer is NULL. Remove the redundant NULL check in release_tar_archive(). Signed-off-by: Yushan Zhou <katrinzhou@tencent.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2022-09-30crypto: marvell/octeontx - prevent integer overflowsDan Carpenter
The "code_length" value comes from the firmware file. If your firmware is untrusted realistically there is probably very little you can do to protect yourself. Still we try to limit the damage as much as possible. Also Smatch marks any data read from the filesystem as untrusted and prints warnings if it not capped correctly. The "code_length * 2" can overflow. The round_up(ucode_size, 16) + sizeof() expression can overflow too. Prevent these overflows. 2022-08-26crypto: drivers - move from strlcpy with unused retval to strscpyWolfram Sang
Follow the advice of the below link and prefer 'strscpy' in this subsystem. Conversion is 1:1 because the return value is not used. Generated by a coccinelle script. 2020-06-18crypto: octeontx - Fix sparse warningsHerbert Xu
This patch fixes all the sparse warnings in the octeontx driver. Some of these are just trivial type changes. However, some of the changes are non-trivial on little-endian hosts. Obviously the driver appears to be broken on either LE or BE as it was doing different things. I've taken the BE behaviour as the correct one. 2020-04-16crypto: marvell/octeontx - Add missing '\n' in log messagesChristophe JAILLET
Message logged by 'dev_xxx()' or 'pr_xxx()' should end with a '\n'. While at it, I've introduced a few pr_cont that looked logical to me.
