2025-01-07soc: mediatek: mtk-devapc: Fix leaking IO map on driver removeKrzysztof Kozlowski
Driver removal should fully clean up - unmap the memory. Error paths of mtk_devapc_probe() should unmap the memory. 2024-11-01soc: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()Uwe Kleine-König
After commit 0edb555a65d1 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove() return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for platform drivers. Convert all platform drivers below drivers/soc to use .remove(), with the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer. On the way do a few whitespace changes to make indention consistent. 2023-10-14soc/mediatek: mtk-devapc: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove(). Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. 2023-08-12soc: mediatek: Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. 2023-02-01soc: mediatek: mtk-devapc: Switch to devm_clk_get_enabled()AngeloGioacchino Del Regno
This driver does exactly devm_clk_get() and clk_prepare_enable() right after, which is exactly what devm_clk_get_enabled() does: clean that up by switching to the latter. This commit brings no functional changes. 2020-11-28soc: mediatek: add mt6779 devapc driverNeal Liu
MediaTek bus fabric provides TrustZone security support and data protection to prevent slaves from being accessed by unexpected masters. The security violation is logged and sent to the processor for further analysis or countermeasures. Any occurrence of security violation would raise an interrupt, and it will be handled by mtk-devapc driver. The violation information is printed in order to find the murderer.
