2020-01-13ARM: davinci: remove legacy timer supportBartosz Golaszewski
All platforms have now been switched to the new clocksource driver. Remove the old code and various no longer needed bits and pieces. Signed-off-by: Bartosz Golaszewski <bgolaszewski@baylibre.com> Reviewed-by: David Lechner <david@lechnology.com> Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>
2019-08-08ARM: davinci: move timer definitions to davinci.hBartosz Golaszewski
Boards from the dm* family rely on register offset definitions from arch/arm/mach-davinci/include/mach/time.h. We'll be removing this file soon, so move the required defines to davinci.h where the rest of such constants live. 2009-05-26davinci: Add watchdog base address flexibilityMark A. Greer
The watchdog code currently hardcodes the base address of the timer its using. To support new SoCs, make it support timers at any address. Use the soc_info structure to do this. Signed-off-by: Mark A. Greer <mgreer@mvista.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@deeprootsystems.com>
2009-05-26davinci: Add base address and timer flexibilityMark A. Greer
The davinci timer code currently hardcodes the timer register base addresses, the timer irq numbers, and the timers to use for clock events and clocksource. This won't work for some a new SoC so put those values into the soc_info structure and set them up in the SoC-specific files. Signed-off-by: Mark A.
