2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2021-06-11ARM: dts: dra7: Fix duplicate USB4 target module nodeGowtham Tammana
With [1] USB4 target-module node got defined in dra74x.dtsi file. However, the earlier definition in [2] was not removed, and this duplication of the target module is causing boot failure on dra74 variant boards - dra7-evm, dra76-evm. USB4 is only present in DRA74x variants, so keeping the entry in dra74x.dtsi and removing it from the top level interconnect hierarchy dra7-l4.dtsi file. This change makes the USB4 target module no longer visible to AM5718, DRA71x and DRA72x so removing references to it in their respective dts files. 2020-07-13Replace HTTP links with HTTPS ones: OMAP DEVICE TREE SUPPORTAlexander A. Klimov
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2019-05-20ARM: dts: dra71x: Disable usb4_tm target moduleKeerthy
usb4_tm is unsed on dra71 and accessing the module with ti,sysc is causing a boot crash hence disable its target module. Fixes: 549fce068a3112 ("ARM: dts: dra7: Add l4 interconnect hierarchy and ti-sysc data") Signed-off-by: Keerthy <j-keerthy@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2019-05-20ARM: dts: dra71x: Disable rtc target moduleKeerthy
Introduce dra71x.dtsi to include dra71x specific changes. rtc is fused out on dra71 and accessing target module register is causing a boot crash hence disable it.
